People can communicate with people through PMs or other sources.

Theres nothing stopping people from giving other people gifts.

Yeah, but I can't draw as good as others, so i can't even give a decent gift art to others. All i can do is draw heads, and sit on the side lines as those other artist get showered with fame and fans. i just really wish i was born with natural talent like those artist.

No, just.. no. Most artists worked hard for many years to reach the skills they have. Art is 10% talent and 90% practice, not the opposite.

And most of the time, they aren't silent, they just get overwhelmed and only replies sparsely when they got something interesting to say. Plus it doesn't mean they don't appreciate it.
And like Zevti said; there's more than just comments to communicate.

Gifts are overrated. It's a bad line of thinking when you start thinking like that.

Er, y-your right. But I reeeeaaally want to be one of those popular artist that people from all over the world talk about! I mean, look at  JessicaElwood! She's been gone for wicked amount of time, but she gets comments and feedback and fan drawings by the millions a day, still to this very day. And her life is way too busy for her to reply to everyone. Yet she is loved like crazy! It just........wow.

It's the internet kiddo. Internet fame =/= real fame. I'll take anonymity any day of the week over internet fame. You're scrutinized, everyone has their eye on you, you act like a jerk in any way and it could go badly. Very quickly.

Besides, real life takes priority over the net. Just put into perspective neh?

Don't worry about it. I know, easy to say, not so easy to do. But the neat stuff comes to those who don't set out to get them. They instead set out to do what they think are neat things and sometimes (not always!) something unexpected comes of it.
