This is neither here nor there; more of an "I'm alive" journal.

LOL, so, I built a new computer, onto which I installed Linux Mint. At the same time, I wanted to dual-boot a copy of Windows 10 that lived on a plug-and-play SSD. I got Windows 10 working just fine. Curious about whether my drives were visible, I opened up disks. A pop up appeared instructing me to initialize a disk. My knee-jerk reaction was to do so. A 4TB nVME.

Whoops!

It turns out you shouldn't tell windows to initialize an ext4 file system! Bye bye, files!

Fortunately, I'd made backups of everything on that drive, so nothing was lost. But, man, I know NOTHING about computers. XD

Let's see if I can actually figure out how to dual-boot Windows 10 and Linux Mint without utter evaporating all the ones and zeroes on this poor (powerful as hell) machine.
