This is a group not just for artists, but for anyone who does not want any of their artwork, commissions, photographs or journals proliferated with creepy, lascivious comments from random strangers. We understand that you want to let us know that you like what you see, and we understand that there's a decent chance that what you're commenting on is adult, but there are just some of those more spontaneous thoughts that you should keep to yourself.
Just because somebody uploads pornography does not mean they want to be advanced on by every random person on this site. This is quite obvious; everybody has their preferences as to who they want to interact that way with, even people who upload adult artwork. As well, people do not upload art at people, but inappropriate comments are directed at the uploader. Nobody is made to look at an upload, but an uploader is made to read a comment. Also, a person's upload may display their sexual preferences, but that does not mean they want to become an object of your sexual preferences, nor does it mean they want to engage in their preferences with you. There really isn't a comparison.
Here are some rough guidelines of what I would personally consider to be ok, and what I would consider to not be ok. Some people will be more conservative, some will be less-so, but I think these represent what is probably average for the majority of users, here; they've been developed and tuned based on a fair amount of feedback.
Examples of acceptable comments:
"Oh wow, you did a great job on that. Really hot."
"She's gorgeous @_@"
"That dick is awesome."
"Really hot character. Would love to chat sometime and get to know him better, if you're interested."
Examples of unacceptable comments:
"Oh murr, I would swirl my tongue in that cunt until she burst."
"I would love to have that big, drooling dick pressed up against my lips right now."
"What's your AIM? I would love to see how that character would handle my cock in her soft, squishy ass."
"Nice ass!!! Wouldn't mind getting to know it better; I would abuse it all night long and teach you to love it."
As well, pro tip #1: don't leave kinky comments if that kink isn't in the picture. Example:
"I would drink that dude's piss."
"Mmm, he looks so young!"
"Great job with the feet; I would let her grind my face in those sweaty soles for hours."
"I bet he would look good in a diaper."
"Can I draw you getting vored?"
Pro tip #2: the more descriptives that you use, the more creepy you become. Example:
"I love that dick." -->
"I love that big, fat dick." -->
"I love that big, sweaty, throbbing, fat cock."
Pro tip #3: don't talk about what you want to do with them. It makes an innocuous comment become creepy. Example:
"I love how you made that ass look so soft and squishy." -->
"I'd love to squish myself against that big, soft ass."
Pro tip #4 (some have disagreed with this one): anatomical terms are infinitely creepier than slang. Example:
"I love the way that you drew her pussy." -->
"I love the way that you drew her labia."
"I love the way that you drew his cock." -->
"I love the way that you drew his urethra."
Even though a couple of people have disagreed with this, everybody agrees that it's creepy no matter which term you use. So just stfu, instead.
Pro tip #5: caps lock, exclamation point spam and onomatopoeiae are creepy as fuck. Example:
"Oh man, she's really hot." -->
"MURRRRR!!! OH MAN, SHE'S REALLY HOT!!!!!! MMMPH!!!"
Pro tip #6: if your comment is too long for twitter, it's too long to not be creepy. Long comments make you look way too invested.
Bonus tip: "hehehe" is innately creepy.
NOT COOL.

Have you ever
Have you ever sent a note, Instant Message, or comment, and later re-read it and suddenly felt like you were being a creepy creeper yourself?
Oh wait, wasn't there a time when FA just started to ban group accounts used as placeholders for icons? Or maybe that's a false memory lol idk
Yea, FA used to ban icon-placeholder accounts, not so much anymore.
