redsaber Oh brother, why can't they just let it die. I was watching tv with Red and we came across a clip of yet another version of Scooby-doo. I understand that most shows do this as means of branching generation gaps, but come on. Scooby-doo! That show was boring back when it was new. The only version I really like were the "13 Ghost of Scooby-doo" and even then they couldn't even finish it.
Why can't they try and bring back some of the other classic cartoon shows? Like Go-bots or GI Joe, Red and deeply felt that they were going to do something great with their Renegade series. I think the idea of them doing a new version of Alvin and the Chipmunks was a pretty bold move at least this time they went back to the original character style instead of the live version which to me didn't look all that believable.

You can blame Scrappy Doo. It's because of him that Scooby Doo became a Franchise at all, leading to the short-lived 13 Ghosts that had the only character most people like even less than Scrappy - made up for with having Vincent Price as a VA IMHO.

What's new scooby-doo was better, in my opinion.

It doesn't even look that good. I'm still willing to give it a chance, but still...
