... or Captain America: What Batman V Superman Could Have Been!
Let me start out by saying that I'm not the biggest Captain America fan. I thought the first one was pretty boring. However, Winter Soldier is one of my favorite MCU movies. So...
Overall impression: the movie was great. It's essentially an Avengers movie without the Avengers title which focuses on Captain America and Iron Man. So, you could call it Avengers 2.5:Captain America 3:Iron Man 4. The action was great and the choreography was very well done. The action scene at the airport was indeed amazing. The way they were able to take each character, have them fighting one another, and still seem like each was contributing equally to the action was just brilliantly done. And the story (no spoilers) was actually a bit of a refreshing turn from everything we've been getting. I really liked Bucky in this though. They really gave him some much needed character. Also, I've not seen Antman yet, but I really liked Paul Rudd as a superhero.
That being said, I did have some problems with the movie. Mostly minor things, but to avoid spoilers, I won't go into details. There was one thing that bothered the hell out of me. The camera work was *hit. From start to finish, I had problems with the camera movements. It got better as the movie progressed, but that just means it got less bad.
Overall though, I was impressed. Definitely, if you're a fan of MCU movies (and who isn't), I'd recommend this movie.
