Is anyone even interested ?

I doubt anyone will bother to read this, but to the ones that do:
I dont know what happened but since a few months all my commissions have gotten significantly lower views and favs. Or just general lower interaction interaction compared to when i started uploading about a year ago.
A lot of the times when i get a new comm i get really excited to show it off to people. But with every new upload i get that feeling less and less because people just dont seem to care.
Because of that i just think to myself "Why even bother" when no one seems to care.
I get that im no artist and all i do its just throw money at people to do it for me. But it still costs me a good amount of money and the ideas take time to come up with too.
It just doesnt feel worth it to me anymore to bother with uploading anything here. :(

Also, make sure you get the stuff that makes YOU happy! Interaction is always nice and I won’t argue that it isn’t, but I know I’m happiest making the content I want to see
I have plenty of things that i really like but i never uploaded and never intend to upload them here.
Its mostly that i feel like i shouldnt even bother showing them to anyone.
Like NogardDragon said already its probably that people are back in the office and dont have the time to look at FA all day anyomore.
Idk its hard to exolain how i feel about this.
But i didnt expect it to tank so hard.
Hardly anyone looks at/favs anything i uploaded recently.
Just feels like a waste of time to come up with the titles and descriptions.
You could try other sites as well. Instagram , Twitter and DeviantArt do pretty well for a lot of people.

I say this not just as someone who uploads comms I get, but as someone who has posted story stuff I've written up here too and who is able to do more writing when I get said interaction.
Timing is always part of the problem, but also sometimes a secondary problem is that folks don't have much to say about a piece. And some folks feel that just saying a pic "looks cool/cute/sexy" or some other generalized statement doesn't add up to much if that's usually all they wind up being able to say.
There's also the case that some folks might be interacting more with the upload on the artist's profile as well, and might not think to have a similar or literally the same comment on yours since they've already shared such thoughts elsewhere, and possibly faved it and seen it there too.
Do know that you're not alone in this kind of feeling though, and that the best advice I can give is to try not to linger or focus too much on such thoughts. As long as you and your friends enjoy the art you are getting and you are happy with it, that's the important part :)
