MMO art raffle from Lycanscar
Posted 14 years agoHey everyone, Lycanscar here with a getting back to gear contest! This one is a heavy one and has one goal... to get 150 furries to participate.
Here you go! This is slightly more for the RPG/WoW/MMO furries.
This one will have 25 winners... yes 25 winner, I want that many since I want to do a lot of drawings.
Also this is PART I.B of the chance. This is the spreading or get more people part.
And this will be done as a colored piece, Digital Color!
Sample: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5321429/
Rules are simple for part 1.B:
1. Ref of character or description of character (written, but can't promise it'll be exact to your imagination XP)
2. Journal link to this one (Part of part 1.B)
3. Specialty (Combat, Spellsword, Spellcaster or Rogue) (can choose more than one)
4. And last be patient for both selection on winners and art.

US Bill to censor the internet

Repost if it matters to you
Most important first:
"Americans, there's some big shit going through your congress right now, and it's called Bill S. 3804. http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bil.....bill=s111-3804 It's a bill that's threatening to censor the internet in the United States, Chinese style. Keep reading—this could fuck things up pretty hard for a lot of people.
When it really matters to them, Congressmembers can come together -- with a panache and wry wit you didn't know they had. As banned books week gets underway, and President Obama admonishes oppressive regimes for their censorship of the Internet, a group of powerful Senators -- Republicans and Democrats alike -- have signed onto a bill that would vastly expand the government's power to censor the Internet.
The Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA) was introduced just one week ago, but it's greased and ready to move, with a hearing in front of the Judiciary Committee this Thursday. If people don't speak out, US citizens could soon find themselves joining Iranians and Chinese in being blocked from accessing broad chunks of the public Internet.

This is basically a bill that gives the government power to blacklist websites without due legal process. You can find an online petition http://demandprogress.org/blacklist/coica and more information at Demand Progress. http://demandprogress.org/blacklist/ Americans, sign that thing, and then call your senator." http://www.senate.gov/general/conta.....nators_cfm.cfm

FWA 2010
Posted 15 years agoI recently got back from FWA last weekend and it was AWESOME! I met lots of cool furs there and I also acquired 6 pieces of artwork from
rukis, Hibbary (http://hibbary.deviantart.com/),
genesisw and another artist whose name I sadly can not remember. The con was mostly fun because I got to meet Gen, of whom I have been a longtime fan of and her webcomic (www.little-tales.com). Mostly though, it was just fun because I got to hang out with a bunch of friends and to meet new friends who shared lots of the same interest that I do.

No offense, but ...
There are some people who are getting too fake on FA. They only want posts, comments, or to see how many friends they can get. So let's see who will actually re-post this.
This is a test to see who's paying attention.
This is a test to see how many people in my friends list actually pay attention to me. Copy and re-post in your own bulletin. Lets see who the true friends are and I think I know who you are ...
Re-post this if you are a friend ... Don't reply ... just copy and paste this in a new bulletin as "Fake Friends, True Friends" will read and repost this.
Fake friends will just ignore it Fighting for all that is right!!!

Getting back to work
Posted 16 years agoAlright everyone who cares, I'm sorry for my absence and I should be able to get back into writing soon. I have been busy with school and such, but I look forward to being able to continue.
Story Post of "He Who Dwells in Darkness"
Posted 16 years agoI will continue the story eventually, but for now I feel that I must edit the first two parts of the story before I feel like I can move on to the rest. Within the next few days, I will post an updated version for both of the parts currently up that will include some revisions and some new formatting based upon feedback that I have recieved. Also, if anyone new sees the current versions, I always welcome critique, for it makes me a better writer. I am writing these mainly for the fun of it, but the underlying goal is to become a better writer, and I will always welcome feedback on my stories.
*Update* I have posted what I think are now the final versions of the first two parts and I will begin working on the rest of the story.
