Posted 2 years agoI’ve been meaning to upgrade my stuff and someone IRL is taking too long in giving me my money back so I am deciding to resort to desperate measures to compensate.
I’m opening commissions again and temporarily allowing rule 34, though I won’t post them and I would appreciate if they didn’t get shared publicly.
There are VERY IMPORTANT RULES, however:
•DO NOT tell me where the characters are from, NOT EVEN THEIR NAME, refer to them by species or whatever. No show names, franchise names, none of that.
•Build a character sheet from scenes in the source material, and only show me that. Avoid showing me drawings.
•I will charge a fee to even just see the reference as detailed in my commission journal.
•If it feels like I’m being shown multiple different styles, I will charge one fee per each style, so don’t pick other people’s art to show me.
•I’m only open to doing the themes I would draw for myself. Avoid fetishes or situations that I hate, please. Don’t ask for dark or cruel things, I will block you.

Commissions are OPEN again
Posted 2 years agoWell, I guess I’m now returning.
Along with this journal, 5 new drawings should have been uploaded between IB and FA, though I think it will be only 4 on IB because humans.
I’m opening commissions, we’ll see how this goes. I’ll try to be more disciplined.
Commission details:
FA: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9917933/
IB: https://inkbunny.net/j/427445
I still have to do the commission sheet to show examples of the different levels of quality I offer, so feel free to ask me, I’ll think of a way to show.
For now let’s how I don’t get overwhelmed again.
I effectively made little to no progress throughout all this time. I took so much time to tackle some projects and I finished nothing.
I hope I can manage to do the Tag Helper 2.0 before the number of uploaded drawings that need re-tagging is too big.

Posted 2 years agoUpdating to let everyone know that I’ve been wanting to go back to posting and drawing for quite a few days now, but I kinda feel paralyzed.
The bad stuff is still bad, but I feel like I’m moving on.
I just don’t want to be inactive, but I can’t help it.
I want to be posting again and to go back to taking commissions, but I’m struggling to be productive. I don’t trust myself right now.
If push comes to shove I’ll try to at least just post. I give up on the tagging thing, so tags might be suboptimal until I actually get around to making it.
But I also need to get over this paralysis to do even just that.

I thought I’d let people know
Posted 2 years agoI had plans to return in full at the start of this year (2023), but I got caught up in some SERIOUS IRL stuff that is still being a huge problem right now. It’s really bad family stuff, and I don’t feel like mentioning specifics, but it really came out of nowhere and just kinda ruined the year already.
My typical issues are still being a problem as well, of course, but even worse than that, my depression and anxiety are also being heightened by the thing.
I don’t know when I’m gonna start posting or taking commissions again. I’m sure I’ll be back when you least expect it, but I can make no promises.
As for my to-dos that are still pending, I’ve given up on nearly everything. All I wanna get done before returning are my commission sheet and an improved version of my Tag Helper.
For the time being, I have not been totally inactive, though, and I have been drawing all this time.
I made a MEGA folder with most of my stuff produced since 2021, to be shared with “trusted individuals” who might want to see.
It doesn’t have everything. I didn’t include some stuff that wasn’t cropped, and there are some drawings I never exported, and some I’m embarrassed to share, but it has a lot.
I warn that it has no filters, tags or descriptions so it’s a “look at your own risk” kinda thing with no context, but it’s the best I can do for now.
The reason I don’t just post the link is because I’m afraid of getting reported and banned on MEGA, since I don’t know how lewd art falls under the “no obscenity” rules, or if it’s even enforced. I don’t want to risk it, so I’m only sharing it with certain people on PMs.
If your interactions with me have been positive, or if you’re a regular in my comments who genuinely likes my stuff, you probably fit the description, so feel free to send a PM requesting the link, if you wanna see. But again, I warn that there are a lot of extreme and crazy themes there.
This is all I can do for now, pretty much.
If things improve, I might try opening commissions again (though me posting again will take some more work), but don’t count on it.

Help wanted [CLOSED]
Posted 3 years ago[THIS IS NOW OVER, I will accept entries for the rest of today (2022 05 20), but after that there will be no more reward sketches]
[edit 2022/05/13 15:42]
TL;DR: This is an opportunity to influence what I draw and get a free sketch from it.
All you have to do is come up with 100 kinks that aren’t too broad or too specific, and avoid cruel, evil or tragic things.
You don’t have to come up with drawing ideas, just kinks or horny themes.
[edit 2022/05/13 15:49]
12:35
Warning: I mention some kinky stuff in this journal as examples.
So first I’ll just mention a random update.
I’ve been neglecting to post stuff due to laziness (I’m mostly trying to draw more, drawing new things, so I’m doing that instead of what I should be doing), they’re just there waiting to be tagged and posted.
However, I also decided that my posting style is probably something along the lines of 14 or 15 drawings posted all in one day of the week, and then cocoon myself for the rest of the week.
That way I’d still be posting an average of 2 a day, with a lot of time where I don’t need to worry about tagging and posting, and then I just dedicate a whole day to that
I just think that’s better, and there are enough drawings to keep this going for months anyway, so I could do even more for a while.
Well, onto the “help wanted” thing now:
After some comments, I noticed that I REALLY neglect some fetishes I like... So I really need to make that thing that would help me avoid that, a thing that makes sure that all themes get covered at least four times a year or so...
But I need a good theme list, and that's where anyone reading this can help, for a free sketch as a reward (unspecific and single-character).
All you'd have to do is write a big list of fetishey or horny themes that you think I'd draw.
I'd do it myself, but that would take all day and delay my to-dos even more, so I'll just complete what I can get from people, using it as a boost so I don’t have to think of everything myself.
The themes need to be a bit specific (so more than just feet, ctf, and so on), but not too much... maybe something along the levels of "sniffing feet", “male facesitting female”, “drinking pee from glass/container”, “pussy mouth” and so on. Something like “sub using mouth to paint dom toenails” would be way too specific (and yes I have this drawn).
[edit 19:08] Just to clarify further, I'm not looking for drawing ideas, but just fetishes. These aren't supposed to be original ideas or anything, by "unique" I just mean that the same kink shouldn't show up twice in the same list, they can be quite commonplace in art and in the fandom. [19:09]
And if you use a fetish name that doesn’t explain itself, just provide a quick explanation just so I don’t get confused, please.
To get the sketch, the list needs to have at least 100 unique themes (but they can be on the same “family”, like multiple pee themes, fart themes, transformation themes and so on). If you double that, you get two sketches, and so on, one sketch for every 100 unique themes, so if SOMEHOW you manage 1000, that’s 10 sketches.
PM me the list along with what you want sketched, and I’ll let you know if it is suitable or not.
AND VERY IMPORTANT: AVOID THEMES THAT MAKE ME FEEL BAD, because I’ll read them once and then probably not finish reading the list, or be afraid to check other lists from you. I’m making myself vulnerable through this, so I expect at least some…
In general, avoid things that are dark, cruel, harmful or tragic… but if you need better guidance, consider checking here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9917959/
Also I’m probably going to ignore “faceless accounts” because of possible exploits. If anyone is gonna exploit, at least put some effort into making it not look obvious.
I’ll probably keep this going for 24 hours. If it doesn’t get enough responses, I’ll try like a week.
13:14
[edit 2022/05/15 13:53]
Ignore the strike-through, the 24 hour and no-faceless-account limit were because I was worried about having too many sketches to draw, but that wasn't a problem so I'm lifting those limits.
It will last until the 20th, and I'll accept lists from faceless accounts too.
And one more time, it should be easy to get to 100 as long as you don't avoid most types of fetishes.
If you struggle to get to 100, you're either being too broad or too specific.

Posting update and closing commissions for May
Posted 3 years ago12:50 I'm still active, drawings are literally just waiting to be posted, all I have to do is tag them and post. Those 3 remaining ant drawings are waiting, as well as some other stuff I finished from 2020.
After that I'm not gonna require myself to finish drawings for posting anymore so no more getting stuck on the drawing order (hopefully), but again, the only reason why they're not up already is that I'm being lazy about tagging them, mostly due to me being sick again.
I'll try to post as soon as possible, and then I should be posting a lot more drawings per day, compensating for the days I didn't post anything...
For the people on FA or whatever... yeah, you've been neglected (not splitting the journals because lazy). Sorry about that, but the cub stuff is now over, again I just have to post it on IB, and then the 2021 drawings will have enough adults to keep it going. I guess I could have posted the adults on FA since the order would not have been impacted there... but I decided not to, just to avoid confusing myself.
Now on the commission stuff. Sorry I wasn't taking the commissions people usually want. I'm having to catch up a lot, since last year, because I keep falling behind, and I just didn't want to interfere with finishing the 2020 drawings too much.
Now they are done, but I'm too late and May is going to have some special personal stuff I wanna do for me and Kat, so I don't wanna have a lot on the table, hence no commissions (as much as that is bad for my pocket).
I do have an urge to work on a better tag-helper application, though. A 2.0 with a lot more quality-of-life features, more options for instructions and how tags spawn other tags, as well as less lag (the current one is too unoptimized, I kept doing foreach loops inside foreach loops in the same frame which is no bueno for a collection of thousands, especially when it wouldn't be bad if it got spread over a few frames, or cached).
I kinda wanna go for it, put the tutorial inside the 2.0 application and that would make my tagging experience even easier. It is so much better now than it was before I made this thing, and with the tutorial it would actually be presentable and helpful to people in general as well. That would soak up some time, though, so we’ll see. The longer I wait, the worse it will get later (to transfer tags over), so yeah. I don’t like doing things when I HAVE to, so this is uncomfortable.

And I'm back.
Posted 3 years ago08:37
Sorry about the wait, thanks for the patience and the support.
I swear to god I don't know what happened, snowball effect, I guess, but things are probably going to start normalizing now, and unless something really bad happens, we should be good from now on.
I guess that’s the thing about me. I stress a lot over small issues, but if I have my way, I end up with a reliable fix that will be useful forevermore. When I started posting, before this horrible hiatus, I didn’t know 100% what I was doing and that made me accumulate problems which made me leave. Other unrelated and bad things then ruined the rest of 2021 for me, but eventually I had to deal with most of the things that were holding me back in order to return. That was A LOT longer than I ever intended (was supposed to be back by last November), so I’m REALLY sorry.
As of right now I should be pretty okay. I have plenty of drawings to post, very clean systems to handle them, and while my tag-helper application might not be… the best… it’s helping me with tag-anxiety because now I don’t have to wonder what tags people use anymore, I can just search for them in my application and click. No mystery, no typos, and they even add synonyms. So that helps.
I’m still going to leave commissions as partially open for now since I’m still a bit busy.
After that I’ll bring back the slots system because I don’t want to accumulate too many commissions at one time.
I’m also being more precise with dates in journals and descriptions, since they can be a whole mess where the future talks to the past, the past talks to the future, I can contradict myself and hopes can either thrive or fade away. It’s important to mark the dates because otherwise it would just be so confusing. I hope it helps. I’m a bit embarrassed about all the failed promises and things like that which will be forever register in these journals or descriptions, but ehhhh… I don’t wanna have to change any of it just because I’m embarrassed.
For people who couldn’t care less… I know it’s stupid, I’m sorry.
Please no bully.
Part of me wishes I could show people the stuff I’ve been working on more recently, but given that I only want to post in order now, that will have to wait… a long time… sorry about that. I’m considering just sending it privately to people if they ask, but that might get annoying, so don’t do that (maybe a future patreon reward? Question mark? Double eye emoji?).
Honestly, I might actually never post “contemporary” drawings, meaning that whatever I post is going up at least some weeks after it was made, which means that anything you see in the descriptions isn’t talking about “now” or “today” as the date of the upload. Any “now” in descriptions along with problems I was having at the time I wrote it, or things I struggled with… that’s all going to be in the past by the time it gets uploaded.
As for the stuff I’m posting now… I decided to start earlier than the original plans (starting at the first 2021 drawing), since there would be a lot of gross and weird drawings otherwise, and I wanted to return on something more vanilla. Then I decided to start even earlier than that, and I don’t even remember why… but that would land me on humanposting, so I decided to start EVEN EARLIER, which invalidates the no-gross stuff since even today I’ll be uploading some extremely gross drawings… Oops.
But hey, at least that made me either finish or do flat colors for some things I wouldn’t have otherwise and I like them… so… yay?
On humanposting, though… I’m guessing that HicceArs wouldn’t full let me in yet, since they claim you need over 1000 watchers. I think I meet the “over 6 months of posting history” requirement, even if I literally vanished for longer than that (oops), but since I have more than enough uploads to meet their monthly average requirement, it should be fine. So yeah, I need a few hundred more watchers to make HicceArs my “homebase” and I hope that site grows.
For now, I’ll do what people do here on IB, which is censoring the human drawings. My style of censorship is turning the humans into non-humans (I literally created an alpha-channel-colored species I call “void bunnies” just for that, I hope people don’t think it’s stupid), and I’ll link the human versions in the descriptions. I assume this is allowed because I know people do stuff like this. The difference is that where people censor the sex in the human drawings, I keep the sex and censor the… humanity? Yes, that.
But that’s not a concern yet since I’m not posting humans today. I need to be careful when I do, though, as I don’t want to upload forbidden content through distraction. Hopefully I don’t do any oopsies on that tomorrow.
08:57
Also here on FA I only have a single drawing to post for now... and it will stay like that for a while... sorry about that. Check IB if you like the things that can't be posted here.

Also here on FA I only have a single drawing to post for now... and it will stay like that for a while... sorry about that. Check IB if you like the things that can't be posted here.

I hate my OCD
Posted 3 years agoOkay, I'm overdue to start posting again...
But there are some things that I wanted, which I didn't get to do yet.
I kinda wanna improve my tag-helper application, since I just tried it out and while it's nice that I don't have to worry about typos... since it still needs a lot of tags inserted into it, it's super annoying to use.
To make it more comfortable to use and add tags to it at the same time, I'd have to change some things.
I'm probably not making a tutorial anytime soon (sorry to those who are trying to use it, I know it's awful, but NO ONE ELSE IS DOING THIS, APPARENTLY).
The other problem is that I didn't want to return with any sketches, at least for a while.
I wanted my first few uploads to be all finished drawings, but if I start posting them right now, there will be some sketches, and I know I can put them in scrapts but... idk... I didn't wanna have to.
I feel like I'm just gonna do what people probably want me to do and go for it... tomorrow. This is giving me anxiety and I don't wanna deal with that today, I just wanna doodle some lewd monster/alien stuff and ignore all my problems.
I wish I had all tags in the thing already, why do I have to deal with over 12k tags? This is upsetting.

Opening UNSPECIFIC and SITUATION commissions for a while.
Posted 3 years agoI had a boost of productivity at the end of March and I almost managed to complete the things I needed and return. I can’t believe it has been two weeks since that. Things went wrong. Again.
I think it’s a mix of some depression and some IRL annoyances that broke my momentum, and given my mental state it is hard to recover.
I deeply apologize to those who are waiting for me to start posting again. I’m making SLOW progress, and I really only need to finish 3 of my old drawings to start posting, so it’s only a mental barrier now. I procrastinated a bit and I’m ashamed, so I’m opening commissions again to compensate and hopefully encourage me to start getting things done again.
I only feel comfortable with Unspecific and Situation commissions, however, so I’m not accepting references for this. PM me if interested.
If you want more info on how I offer commissions, and the prices, go here https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9917933/
Also if I’m given freedom to use random alien species I come up with on the go, I’m granting an extra character for FREE on UNSPECIFIC commissions.
So basically, if you want me to draw a certain theme, and you don’t need me to be too precise on the situation, and you’re okay with me using my made-on-the-go aliens, you can ask for 3 characters and only pay the price of a 2-char unspecific commission.

Tag Helper Update (I wanna return but I'm still not ready...
Posted 3 years agoJust letting people know what's up.
I'm working on the thing that I need to tag my posts, so that I can go back to posting again.
And while I'd like to say I'm almost done (all coding is done and it's working well), I still have to add all the tags into it.
I've been doing exactly that, as well as tackling the last few commissions I got... and I feel like it's going to take a while before all the tags are there.
Recently I've been going over that list of tags that I got from scouting, which I linked in the previous IB journal, and then adding them all into my Tag Helper application, with all the relationships between the tags and so on. But doing this would probably take over 3 months so yikes.
There are a lot of tags that I probably won't use, so the current plan is to try to rush this thing skipping over anything that doesn't call to me, and giving the list a second pass later, whenever convenient.
A third plan is to start re-tagging my drawings and posting new stuff while still priming it with tags, adding the tags as I need them for the drawings. This will make it take longer, but then at least I'd be posting sooner.
But yeah, for now I'll try the second strategy and see if that helps, but it might still take several days, maybe even a few weeks. There are like 12 thousand tags, so yikes. And these aren't even all the tags used in IB, just the ones that I could find with my poor scouting strategy (I hope there is a lot of overlap between IB and the other sites I use).
It's also kinda bad for my decision paralysis that I have to decide the relationship between some tags I'm not fully familiar with, since I didn't dare to look at the drawings while searching for the tags. So I have absolutely no idea what some of these mean, but oh well.
Sadly, I have to admit that I haven't been the most diligent lately, been slacking a bit more due to depression, but I'm still trying. I just wish I could finish all of this stuff in a single day. I have so many projects. It's gonna be 2050 before I actually have most of my projects up and running, I bet. I hate this.
When I'm done I'm gonna post the application for those who would like to give it a try, but I should probably make a tutorial first, as well as adjust some UI and quality of life thingies in it.
Something has been nagging me in regards to how "instructions" (rules of tag relationships) work in it, though, and I've been having this urge to change it entirely, which would mean going back to coding, but if I did, then the "instructions" would become a lot more versatile. So I don't know. I might do it, might not, I'd have to rewrite a lot of UI code and the things I did last month.
Update (2022/03/12):
I have decided yesterday to take a bit of a detour and change the way instructions work in the Tag Helper before I proceed any further. It was a dangerous rework, since I wouldn't be able to debug things very efficiently if anything broke in a very mysterious way (changing several things at once does that), but hey, it actually worked, so we're fine. It might have some weird obscure bugs I couldn't test for, but I guess we'll have to see.
The instructions (things that make some tags add others like bunny/cat/wolf > mammal) used to work with just a list of "requirements", a list of "results" and a check box for if all requirements must be present or just one of them.
Now, though, it has four lists of requirements, and the results.
AND Requirements: (everything listed here must be present to add the results) [top-left]
OR Requirements: (just one of the things here would add the results) [top-right]
AND Negators: (if all of these are together, it will BLOCK this from adding the results) [bottom-left]
OR Negators: (any one of these present would BLOCK this from adding the results) [bottom-right]
So to translate from the old format to the new one, if the check box was yes, then all requirement tags go to "AND Requirements", and if not "OR Requirements", with the negators being left empty.
There are probably some things I can still fix, but I'm going to make the download available for people who want to pick it up and see what's up. No tutorial, yet, I still have to make it, but feel free to download if you think you can figure it out on your own.
Some tips, though:
Scrolling could have been done better, it scrolls sideways if hovering over the boxes, and vertically if hovering over the column’s header (but I got lazy with coding UI because hell).
Single-right-click opens up their editing menu, double-right-click opens their DELETION menu.
The first column to the left is where things are open up for deletion, editing or creation.
To create new tags, sets or instructions, type something that doesn’t exist in the search bar and press regular ENTER.
Right and left arrows during a search will autocomplete terms (the "selected" result shows up under the search terms).
Up and down arrows navigate the selected results (previous shown to the left, next shown to the right).
And numpad enter adds the selected result (given that you didn't type something that doesn't exist) even if you didn’t type it out exactly.
Side mouse buttons (4 and 5) have functionality in scrolling and reorganizing the order of tags/sets/instructions. You don't NEED them, but they help make things easier.
Be sure to remove the test junk that I left there, especially inside the tag aliases (it's would be a good exercise to learn how to navigate/edit/delete, so there you go).
I might still change or fix some things, if some bugs show up with time, but I need to leave it alone for now and focus on putting the tags in.
Update (2022/04/20):
I updated it a bit, just added a save function that saves the Entries to a json. I basically did this as a way to keep the raw in-application tagging format, before it gets converted to the tags you'd actually copy and paste on sites. This way if you're tagging something and it crashes, you don't have to lose everything, and it also allows for revisiting tagged drawings (but it doesn't name the saves, you'd have to rename entries.json manually).

Removing self-restrictions because I want to post soon
Posted 4 years agoAfter trying to tackle the introductory sketches a bit more and making little progress, I decided to completely cancel this requirement (definitely still drawing them, just not gonna force myself to do so before I start posting again). I am also canceling the conlang requirement, and I’ll just keep the TMI bits out until I’m ready to update the descriptions to have them in the conlang. But basically I want to go back to posting as soon as possible.
I have been working on the tag-helper (it will really help a lot) since I don’t think I can bring myself to post a bunch of stuff without it, but progress is steady and if everything goes right it should be ready in a few days, then I’ll just have to retag and update everything.
The personal tag system I wanna make is a bit of a problem, though, as I was just working on it just now and it is decision paralysis hell. I’m struggling with it but what I might do is also let go of that and instead just use the “normal” tags that people expect (as well as the hg_ag_nl_ml stuff). I might just upload the spreadsheet to dropbox or something and keep updating it, since I’ve promised that for ages and never delivered.
What I don’t like about it is interfacing with other people, which I suspect would not go well, so what’s the point? Basically, if I was using it just for myself, it would be fine, but it’s very CODE-LIKE, meaning that it’s not the best for human readability (for instance, there would be no “cub”, “loli” or “shota” tags, but instead, they’d be combinations of age, species and gender tags like child_anthro_herm). They’re supposed to be more efficient, though, especially for sites that don’t allow complex tag quantum mechanics like e621 does.
I would appreciate feedback on this.
Now, if I do as stated above, I should be able to just start posting again pretty much as soon as I’m done with the tag-helper (need to implement autocomplete search function and ways to add/edit/remove things from within the application, instead of having to edit the json text). But then the main issue is that I want to start posting in order from the beginning of 2021… but the very first drawings (they’re finished) are very… not vanilla… and it would be a bit of a shock compared to what I have in my galleries now.
Basically, because they were not drawn to be posted, I was a bit weird with them, of course, and I’m a bit embarrassed about the themes and how I handled it (a bit obsessed with something weird and more on the gross side).
It’s nothing bad, of course, and I’m sure people wouldn’t give me a reason to be embarrassed, but still, I wanted to go gradual from what is in my galleries right now to my… more intense stuff, especially considering that it’s like a bunch of drawings on the same exact theme one after the other (yes, obsessed).
What I could do about that, and I think I’ll do that, is post the unfinished sketches that I wanted to use for theme introductions already (in scraps, since they’re so unfinished), and let people see the “pathway” that I was tracing to intensify the content in the account (though it’s not a smooth transition, I couldn’t resist some things here and there). It is also incomplete (I had a whole list and didn’t do it all), but I assume people would want to see them already, since I would only share them when I finally reach #525 in my posting order (I can post a lot every day, but there are quite a few unfinished drawings before the introductory sketches are reached and I’d want to finish them for posting in order).
I also don’t know if I should post only the things intended as introductory drawings, or if other drawings that were made around them should go as well, such as the eight commission drawings I finished and delivered but never posted.
15/01/2022: I am also going to give up on the custom tag system. This is both because of what I talked about before, on how it gets too technical and less intuitive, trying to create a perfect polished system which just makes it very different from normal tags. But also because there should be a 200 keyword limit on submissions, as clarified by moderation on InkBunny.
I thought it had no limit because I managed to post more than the specified limit before, but that seems to be a bug. So there is really no place for such an intricate and detailed tag system.
If anyone is curious to see how complicated it would be, feel free to take a look here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet.....ue&sd=true
So as of right now, all I really have to do is gather some useful, commonly-used tags for the themes I draw, finish the tag-helper and then inject those “normal” tags in it. I still want to use synonyms and parent-tag things, like “butthole” and “anus” or “otter” “mustellid” “mammal”, but again, I’ll try to stop worrying about covering all holes, and just use what people use. I might even stop with the “anthro_SPECIES” “cub_SPECIES”, since some of these have no entires (I started doing that because some suggested tags were that).

Opening Commissions Again… And kinda returning.
Posted 4 years agoWell, this was horrible. I hate not getting stuff done, but 2021 ended up rough, after going so well for a while. That was very disappointing, and while I haven’t recovered 100% yet, I’m at least being productive again, drawing again. I couldn’t finish a drawing for like 3 months, but things are normalizing.
I don’t wanna get into detail, but basically it was a combination of me doing things wrong (which made me leave) and some really bad IRL stuff out of my control (which shook me a lot and messed things up), resulting in me losing the year that was supposed to be so special (which prevented me from recovering).
When I left I was supposed to focus on doing all those projects that I wasn’t tackling due to drawing. I didn’t, and I hate it, but I couldn’t. Hopefully I should be able to do stuff soon.
It’s still going to be a while before I post. Who knows how long.
I wanna keep the thing I had going on, completing all the introductory sketches I made in order to introduce themes to my gallery, and after that I’ll start from the beginning of 2021, posting the drawings in order. But before any of that there are four things I wanna have:
•The tag-helper, which is supposed to make tagging a lot easier for me, encouraging me to do it more, since it can be a bit of a barrier for posting stuff.
•The tag system I’ve talked about before, which should work to make easier for people to browse my galleries or avoid certain content (and supposed to be more efficient than the general site tags).
•Re-tagging every drawing I’ve posted so far, so they use the better tags.
•And the conlang that I wanna finish to use for TMI stuff in the descriptions of my drawings, which some people might want to read, but others might want to not see at all.
The last one is optional, I can simply crop out those parts of the description until I have the language ready. But the other three I feel like really need to happen. It’s like cleaning, if I keep using the galleries without doing it, it’s only gonna get worse for later.
But in the meantime COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN AGAIN.
Slots are going to work a bit differently for a while, since I don’t want to do the silly limiting thing of generating slots, but otherwise it’s the same. New slots will show up immediately after I’m done with a commission, though I might reduce the total number of slots. Maybe half, idk.
Commissions will be delivered in private and if you want to post them on your galleries you can… but it will probably take a while to show up in mine (I have 8 done already that I haven’t posted yet).
I should also stress that eventually I’m going to start charging more if I have to see a new reference, just because I’m not feeling 100% comfortable with having to see references, since they’re art, and while I still want to do it for money, I just want to get more for it as well. I know it’s stupid and might make some people upset, but I don’t want to betray my feelings.
That said, it’s nothing urgent since I wanna give people the time to commission their characters before starting charging for new refs, since I think it would be unfair otherwise, to just return and start doing that without giving people a chance to get their characters in, even though they might have wanted for a long while.
So yeah, characters I have drawn before are free from this extra charge in future commissions, as well as any characters I’m shown before I start doing this thing, which should be in a month or two, who knows. But after that, if I have to see a reference I’ve never seen before, I’ll charge an extra price for the character I had to see for the first time, which might be around 10$ (I still have to decide).
Characters that are described to me are fine, as well as characters that I’ve made the reference to, of course, or characters of my own creation. It’s only for when I have to see the work of other artists.
If you’re interested in commissioning, more info is available here.
Now finally I’d just like to address the people who commented in my previous journal. I don’t thank people individually because I think it’s silly, but I just wanna let you all know that your appreciation is noted. Thank you. And sorry for leaving for so long. Hopefully things can stabilize and I won’t have to go into a hiatus ever again.

I'll be back (updated)
Posted 4 years agoI think I returned to the fandom too soon. I need to have some stuff ready.
I'm gonna go away for a while and not even check PMs, so just pretend I don't exist until I eventually come back.
25/11/2021 update:
Things got worse than I thought they would. Year got ruined by things outside of my control. I'm trying to recover but it isn't happening.
I haven't finished a single drawing in over 2 months, and haven't sketched anything in over 2 weeks and it's like I don't even want to go back.
There is a reason why it got so bad, but I'm not going to say it here. It happened after I left, so the original stuff in this journal was not about it. I didn't know it was gonna happen.
I thought I would be back by 2022 for sure, but now it feels like I'll never recover. I don't want to promise a date. I'm not ok.
Thanks for the kind words down there, I won't reply individually, but they are noted.
I'm going to be around again just in presence, just checking my pages and PMs again, but still no drawings, sorry.

FREE COMMISSION in exchange for help with Unity ECS parti...
Posted 4 years agoI am in desperate need to learn how to do spatial partitioning in Unity ECS... or some other form of high-performance interaction between nearby objects.
First person who can give me code that is all fully commented and well explained will get a WHOLE FULL SPECIFIC COMMISSION (single character) COMPLETELY FOR FREE.
What I need exactly:
Imagine a volume populated by Entities we will call "particles".
These particles are pretty much identical to one another, and are perfectly functional using the same Entity Components.
The only differences would be a few of the properties inside those Entity Components.
Some key properties are the POSITION and MOMENTUM.
Momentum changes the particle's position each frame. This is trivial and I managed on my own.
Momentum needs to be changed by the interactions with other particles.
Every frame I need ALL particles to interact with others that are near them.
My non-ECS solution from the past used a trigger collider that adds them to a list, and then loops through that list. The radius of that collider was used as a gradient to control from "minimum interaction" to "maximum interaction" (meaning that if they were overlapping the interaction would be the strongest, but if they were just in reach, then it would approach zero).
This is obviously not ideal, but the concept of a radius is more than fine.
For another project, I kinda learned spatial partitioning using cells, I then modified it to use only 3 neighboring cells instead of all 8. This is done by checking which corner is the closest and then only using the 3 neighboring cells of that corner.
This actually makes it convenient to use the cell length as the RADIUS for the interaction/detection (and the mentioned intensity).
For 3D, this would translate into 8 3D-cells, but I'm not sure how to do cells for ECS, or how to use jobs with lists of Entities or whatever (I don't even remember how it works at this point).
But I imagine it would be similar, put all Entities in a 3D grid, make each of them only interact with Entities in the seven neighboring cells (and the one it is in), use the cell dimension as a radius for interaction, and then run it on Jobs.
I have also heard that Native HashMaps are a solution, and I have no idea how to sue that.
VERY IMPORTANT POINT: The particle Entities need to affect EACHOTHER. This is worth noting because in my previous attempts to use ECS for this simulation I found that while calculating a particle's motion from the others around it is easy, making it mutual wasn't as trivial.
In all I just need about 10k particles interacting for the simulation, but it would be great to reach 100k.
If there are better solutions with better performance ignore the cell stuff above.
What I really need is to make it so that these particles can interact with others nearby in a way that allows MUTUAL TRANSFER OF MOMENTUM.
Maybe they attract one another, maybe they repel one another, and that depends on their properties. But they need to influence one another.
The radius thing is just to limit the number of interactions, since having EVERY SINGLE PARTICLE interact with EVERY OTHER PARTICLE is very bad performance. Limiting it to a localized region around each particle makes it unlikely that there will be too many there.

I was supposed to beg for help with this before I even returned to the fandom, but I procrastinated it too much. I might need to make a post on Unity Answers or whatever.

More of that (sorry again)
Posted 4 years agoI don't know what this journal is supposed to be... maybe I just wanna throw stuff out there to lower some of the irritation from not communicating anything to anyone. This is probably just venting to make myself feel a bit better about how unproductive I've been this month.
This is probably gonna be me trying to justify what is going on while avoiding too many excuses.
Half of this month is gone already. I was supposed to finish so much stuff before this month started but here we are with half of it gone and still none of those.
Lately I started working on three commissions, which are probably helping me get stuff done, but I'm still going incredibly slow. I've been feeling so tired and lethargic lately and I'm not sure why. Maybe I need to shift my sleep again.
What is worrying me the most is that normally I'd feel like taking more than three days to finish stuff is a crawl, but I keep catching myself thinking that I haven't been working too long on these commissions. This means that I'm not taking note of how fast time flies by, which is VERY bad.
I still have all those introductory sketches I keep talking about. But I guess things are getting harder to address lately, due to all the to-dos I've been accumulating since the start of the year...
I don't wanna say I'm having burn-out, I think it might have been sickness these last few days, but I admit I have been feeling a pull towards other things. I miss other projects that aren't drawing.
I got a massive urge to brainstorm some ideas for one of my games lately, and I guess I should feel good about that because it kinda solved an issue I was having with the whole point of the game. I was worried that the gameplay would be too boring and that there would be no main motivation for anything in the game, but these recent ideas I've written down might help a lot with that. I still feel bad because this is no REAL progress, since I don't even have the skills to implement any of them yet (this game is extremely ambitions with a gigantic scope), so the fact that I spent hours doing that instead of drawing makes me feel guilty.
But still, I wanted to do more... I guess I am hungry for aesthetics... I don't know if the people who are here for the horny care about aesthetics and stuff like that at all, those mysterious vibes and feelings that wash over us sometimes, but they're something I care a lot about and it can show up in my porn now and then... But I think I just need to explore that more now...
If it's not clear, these are things like a neat sunset by the shore, the huge uninhabited expanses of a barren wasteland with the wind blowing, an eerie foggy day, a boulder-dotted prairie at twilight, a crystal clear night when the stars feel closer to Earth, a mossy cliffside in a jungle after rain, and things like that...
Maybe I just wanna work on other things to run away from all the chores I accumulated for myself... but I'm also afraid to procrastinate or to dedicate too much to those and neglect drawing. I assume most people here are here for the lewd drawings, I'm not sure anyone would like the other stuff...
My work ethic was improving this year, but I'm watching it go back to how bad it used to be. I guess I should feel good that I'm not wasting time distracting myself with multiplayer first person shooters anymore... or any videogames... but I'm still watching more youtube than I should, waiting for whenever my body feels more in shape for drawing. Ugh. At this point I just don't wanna be worse than I was last month.
I'm gonna have to work on my games and simulations eventually, though, since they're a goal for this year. I also need to learn how to make music and sound effects, since I'd need those for my things...
I don't like asking for help or guidance, but I guess people's opinions wouldn't hurt. Knowing whether or not people would be interested in my other projects can help inform my decisions and motivate me by giving me more paths I could follow, or a better notion of what to do.

Moody Update (sorry)
Posted 4 years agoI know I promised stuff, but I'm just struggling a lot to get things done.
I'm still working on those sketches I talked about and they're over 100 now.
I get really upset over how no matter how much I do, nothing seems to ever be finished.
All I wanted was to make sure I did proper drawings of some key concepts that I like, in order to introduce them to my gallery.
This was important because it makes sure that I can show people what I like and how I tackle some themes, while if I just did whatever I felt like in the moment, I could end up repeating some themes, while completely neglecting others. With this list I made, which keeps growing, at least I know I'm addressing a bit of everything, so it's at least there, somewhere, all together, all one after the other, which is why I didn't want to interrupt the flux with other drawings.
I feel like I can't even begin to tackle the stuff I should have taken care of like three months ago. I still need to do the species bestiary and the lore for me, Kat and our four main friends which I didn't even introduce yet.
I even missed out on the 10-year anniversary of the first drawing I ever posted on the fandom.
I wish I was faster. I don't know what happened. I'm really disappointed with myself. In April I actually managed to pull eight fully shaded drawings a day for 4 days, and the quality was pretty much what I've been posting. I can't do that anymore, for some reason.
I'm really upset at how little I can manage right now. I can't even imagine doing things like comics or big projects in this state, at least not without giving up on everything else, which would not be great.
Sorry to share my sentimentalities like this... I try not to, and I refused to communicate anything like this for 3 days now, but I thought I should give at least some update, since haven't had much to share lately.

Yiff Tag Helper – Something to make tagging submissions...
Posted 4 years agoSo yeah, this happened. Basically, I’ve been working on this for the past three days, instead of doing the sketches and finishing the flat colors I said I would. I still haven’t finished sketching all the concepts I want to introduce to my galleries, but I ended up running into some bad feelings due to a particular sketch and that made me wanna not draw for that day, which led to me going back to coding.
I missed coding… painful as it is, it can still be really fun when things work. And here they did work, which is great, and now this application is FULLY FUNCTIONAL.
If people show interest, I’ll try to tidy things up and make everything neat with more functionalities, but this is the minimum viable product or whatever the pros call it.
What is it? Well, in short this is a little application that allows you to tag a submission by clicking the tags on the screen instead of typing them out. It also automatically merges tags together, such as “anthro” and “bunny” into “anthro_bunny”, and creates aliases for them automatically, such as “lagomorph” and “rabbit” when “bunny” is added.
In this way you really only have to click “anthro” and “bunny” and the tags you will get are: “anthro”, “bunny”, “rabbit”, “lagomorph”, “anthro_bunny”, “anthro_rabbit”, “anthro_lagomorph”.
The only catch is that you need to set those fusions or aliases yourself through a json file, since I could never hope to know what tags are relevant for each given individual and I wanted to make the application very plastic. The way you do it is by telling it what to do through the json ONCE, and when that is ready, you can just open the application and click tags, then either export it as a .txt file (ctrl+E) or copy it (ctrl+C). The tags are ready to be pasted on whatever site you’re posting to (optimized for SoFurry, Weasyl and InkBunny).
Again, the set-up only has to be done one time, and after that it’s super easy to use.
I will now explain how it works, mostly, with the help of some pictures linked throughout the text.
First, the basic interface: <Interface 01>
I divided the screen into four parts, one for the “Entries”, one for your entire pool of tags in the json, one for your “Sets” and an empty one where I was going to add the option to modify tags, Sets and so on, on the go, without having to touch the json.
Each of these tabs can be scrolled through up and down with the mouse scroll wheel as this print poorly depicts: <Interface 02>
The Entries are “Containers” that receive tags, and they are where the tag merging happens. It was done like this mostly to make characters, so you can enter each character as a separate Entry. Tags inside an Entry such as “anthro” and “bunny” will merge into “anthro_bunny” when you click Update (note that the original tags are maintained after “anthro_bunny” is added). If there is another Entry, which is supposed to be another character, such as “feral” “bear”, it will make “feral bear” WITHOUT making “feral_bunny” or “anthro_bear”.
The “Individual Entries” tab holds all the entries, and like all tabs, it scrolls up and down.
Clicking individual tags on the other two tabs will either create a new Entry, which will be automatically selected OR add tags to the selected Entry. To de-select an entry, just click at the “Individual Entries” tab name. To select an Entry, click on the Entry’s name.
Entries are named after what created them, so either the tag’s group or the set that was clicked.
Clicking tags inside an Entry will REMOVE the tags from that individual entry, while double-clicking an Entry’s NAME with the RIGHT CLICK will DELETE that Entry.
The creation of an Entry with the used tags is shown here: <Interface 03>
Tags become automatically highlighted when in use by one or more entries. Tags in an Entry scroll side-to-side when the mouse is over that Entry, like any other Container.
The “Tag Groups” tab holds all the different tag groups, which are just broad groups of tags, all spawned from the json. This tab will not be modified on the go, but it is where you can click individual tags and add them to an entry. The groups are Containers which scroll side-to-side, while the entire tab scrolls up and down. This way if a group has too many tags, you can scroll through them to see more.
The different tag groups are up to the user and you can set them up however you want in the json. I THINK the order follows the same order from the json, but I didn’t take too many measures to force that, so who knows. But if you want to keep them organized in a particular way, you can give that a try. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER.
The “Your Sets” tab functions like the others in scrolling, but it has an extra functionality, which is browsing Sets. What are Sets? They are like tag presets which you might use frequently. Because I draw my characters a lot, I might want to add our tags often, and sets are a quick way to do that. When clicked, ALL OF THE TAGS in a set are added to an Entry.
Again, if there is no Entry selected, it will create a NEW Entry, with the SAME NAME from the Set that was clicked, as shown here: <Interface 04>
When you want to add another character, be sure to de-select the Entry by clicking the “Individual Entries” tab. The Entry’s header will go from green to white, showing that it’s not selected anymore, allowing you to spawn a new Entry from another Set. In this way you can add multiple characters easily, as shown here <Interface 05>
If there are any missing tags, you can always add them later, as shown here <Interface 06>
Sets also have SubSets, which is where the extra tab functionality comes. When clicking a Set’s title, you will go inside it if it has SubSets, and the new sets displayed are those SubSets.
So you can imagine the “Your Sets” tab as displaying all Sets as SubSets of the whole application. And when you click a set, you will show that Set’s SubSets instead. Clicking the header of the tab will restore the parent Set, or return to the layer above.
Set navigation can be seen here, with the parent set at first: <Interface 09>
Then the collection of SubSets the clicked Set has. Note that the name of the tab changed to represent the Set that was clicked: <Interface 10>
To merge the tags, make sure to click Update, or press (ctrl+U) I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT WORKS ON OTHER OPERATIONAL SYSTEMS. In hindsight I should have probably called the Update automatically whenever Copy or Export are clicked, but I forgot, so make sure to click Update before clicking those.
The Updating can be shown through these two pictures:
<Interface 06>
<Interface 07>
When you’re done, feel free to hit Export (ctrl+E) or Copy (ctrl+C). Export will create a tags.txt file, which is saved in the same location as the json (inside the “Yiff Tag Helper_Data” folder, for Windows, at least). This file has ALL the tags including the aliases, which is where “bunny” becomes “bunny”, “rabbit”, “lagomorph”.
Hitting Copy will do the same for the tags, but they copy to the clipboard instead of to a file, so it’s just like Export, but without a file creation. Copy is quicker, since you don’t have to open a file, but Export is safer, since you won’t lose the tags if you accidentally hit PrintScreen or something, which is why I gave both options.
The result is shown here, from the same sequence as the images linked above: <Interface 08>
Tags that are duplicate are automatically removed.
I WILL NOW EXPLAIN HOW THE JSON WORKS AND HOW TO SET UP YOUR OWN TAGS:
Again, even though I made this for my own use, I wanted to make it available for other people as well, and because I can’t decide on the tags other people will use, I built the whole thing around being able to easily modify the tags inside whenever you need, whoever you are. You don’t even need a code editor program or anything, NotePad will do.
First the Tags, of course: <Json 01>
Here is where you enter ALL the tags you wanna be able to see while running the application. If you don’t know how jsons work… don’t worry, just do like I always did and make sure to copy what’s already in there, only modifying the fields such as name and so on.
To make a new one, all you have to do is copy that entire segment, from the curly brackets to the comma (THE COMMA IS IMPORTANT), just follow the structure that is already in there and you should be fine.
“tagClass” is obsolete, you can ignore it or type anything you want. I was gonna use that to divide things first but gave up on it for a more generalistic set-up.
“group” is important, as it is what displays on the “Tag Groups” tab I showed above. You can enter any names you want there and the program handles it for you, the same name results in the same group, of course.
“name” is the tag name, which is also very important, as similar names will count as the same tags. I have no idea what happens if you add different tags with the same name… if my code prediction senses are right it should just take the first one and ignore the others (I told it to loop through the collection of tags until it finds a matching name), but WHO KNOWS… best avoid it.
“aliases” are part of where the magic of this program happens! That is where all the different synonyms will show up and stuff, where “bunny” also adds “lagomorph” and “rabbit”. You can do WHATEVER YOU WANT with those, they are only used in the very end of the process, when exporting, so you can type anything in there. ALL OF THE ALIASES OF A TAG ARE ALSO GENERATED IF THAT TAG IS PRESENT ANYWHERE. But aliases don’t show up inside the application, to avoid clutter.
For tags that can either merge or split, make sure that the stuff they become are also on the list of tags, though, or that function is ignored. More on that later, when I talk about “Instructions”.
Now the Sets: <Json 02>
Sets are a lot more complicated to think about, since they can nest within one another… BUT… instead of making that painful to deal with in the json, I decided to go for a much more easily understandable approach and made it name-based.
Because of that, the “name” of a Set is VERY important, since it tells the program what Sets are SubSets of it.
That leads to the next point, “parent”, which sets a parent for the Set. All Sets with the same parent will be nested into it while the application is running, and you can browse that as discussed before.
“tags” are all the tags contained by that set, of course, and this can get a little bit complicated, since these three interact together, so I’ll explain more now:
A root parent Set should ONLY have the most BASIC of tags (like the name of a character, for instance, or things that never change). Subsets can add more tags which COMPLEMENT the previous ones, and when a SubSet is clicked, all tags from the parent Set are added as well. In the application, SubSets already DISPLAY the tags of the parent, but in the json, they don’t need to. Remember to keep the tags inside the brackets, between quotations and separated by commas.
So the main set could be something like just the tag “little_jimmy” or whatever, with SubSets containing things such as “adult” or “cub”, which themselves can split into having tags like “male” and “female”, depending on what you want to do.
So you find the version of the character you want (adult woman little Jimmy), and click that, adding all the tags “little_jimmy”, “adult”, “female”.
This is of course up to you, since tags can be easily removed after being added, but the functionality is designed around this usage.
And finally, the Instructions: <Json 03>
Instructions are well… instructions on which tags should become what when in the presence of other tags. This could be through two ways: Division or Combination.
Division can be used for fetish implications, such as when a given fetish also implies other tags automatically, such as “lipstick_on_penis”. You can tell it to also add “lipstick” and “penis” when that tag is encountered.
Combination is what takes tags such as “anthro” and “bunny” and makes “anthro_bunny”. This is something I noticed was bothering me while I was tagging my submissions, so the entire application is kinda built around this and the aliases.
Speaking of aliases, the tags the Instructions are handling should ALL be in the json already, in the list of tags. Aliases are automatically applied, since a given fusion should have that alias already. I thought about making them on the go, but that brought some problems.
Okay, now how to use Instructions?
“name” is kinda irrelevant, I ended up not doing anything with that. I guess be careful because having the same name will probably cause only the first one to be used, since that’s how I coded it.
“tags” are the set of all tags that need to be together for that Combination to happen. Like the picture shows, it is things like “anthro” and “bunny”, and all of those tags must be present within the SAME ENTRY for it to do anything. Make sure to have them inside those brackets, separated by commas and between quotations, as all other names.
“combination” is the resulting tag, what will be added to that Entry when Update is clicked. Again, this combination tag NEEDS to exist in the json already, or else it is ignored. Because it is one of the tags already in the list, it is assumed that you have already defined all its aliases, which are used in the end. So if the result is “anthro_bunny”, you only have to name THAT ONE, and leave “anthro_rabbit” and “anthro_lagomorph” as its ALIASES, up there in the TAG SECTION, and the program will handle the rest for you. Don’t make extra Instructions for aliases.
“tag” is a target tag for division, it’s pretty much the opposite of a combination, you name something like “lipstick_on_penis” and expect it to automatically split into “lipstick” and “penis”.
“divisions”, as said above would be the result of a tag division, so you can do some basic fetish implications like that, if you want, since “lipstick_on_penis” already implies the presence of “lipstick” and “penis”, without having to add them as aliases. The advantage of this is that EACH OF THESE TAGS can have THEIR OWN ALIASES, without you having to worry about any of them. You set the aliases for “lipstick_on_penis” as “lipstick_on_cock” or “blowjob_marks” or whatever that would be… and then “lipstick” could have “lipstick_mark” or “make-up” or whatever, and “penis” could have “dick”, “cock” and so on. Just like “tags”, keep them inside the brackets, between quotations and separated by commas.
Again, the json file can be found in the folder “Yiff Tag Helper_Data” inside the version folder. The version folder being where you click to open the application. It is called “save.json” or just “save” if your file browser hides extensions.
After setting up the json with that in mind, all you have to do is use the program. You can go back to add more tags or sets or instructions whenever you feel like.
I wanted to add the functionality to do all that INSIDE the application, without needing to manually edit the json, but I wanted to go back to drawing and it was taking me too long.
In the future I might add a bunch of other stuff, such as making the UI better, giving options for configurations (font size, UI display, etc.), as well as a search function, but this is what I have to offer for now. Let me know if you’d like me to improve on this.
Again, the application as I’m making it available already has a few tags, but it is very much not sufficient and you HAVE to add your own, or else it can’t really be used. Hope yall enjoy this because it took me some hard work.
If you’re interested in me coding more and doing more things, let me know. There are some things I wanna do, but I have this feeling that people would appreciate drawings more. ppsssstt I can make lewd games tho

Oh god why did it take like hours just to type this stuff?
<Interface 06>
<Interface 07>

Sets are a lot more complicated to think about, since they can nest within one another… BUT… instead of making that painful to deal with in the json, I decided to go for a much more easily understandable approach and made it name-based.

Justifying my Inactivity
Posted 4 years agoWelp, I just wanna update people on what I'm doing... and it's sketches.
I don't wanna post sketches just yet, I didn't like posting those flat colors before they were finished, despite the fact that people seemed to like them. So I need to finish them first.
I don't like revealing my game like this since it can breed disappointment (which is why I'm hesitant), but I feel like saying this:
In the past two weeks I have done 55 sketches that I really wanna finish. They involve themes that I really wanna introduce to my galleries in a worthwile fashion, so I just kept sketching and sketching, trying to cover as many themes as I could.
It will probably be several days before they're all posted, so there is no way I'm waiting. I'm gonna try to line, color and shade them one by one, and then post them one by one as they get done.
After these 55, I'm probably still gonna have a lot more themes I want to introduce, but at this point it becomes so hard to address.
I wish I could draw more. I wish I could draw faster.
Up next should be those 15 flat colors finished, if all goes right, now that I'm done with all my commissions.
Then I have those 55 sketches, unless I get more commissions.
I also haven't dealt with my other projects at all, which makes me a bit upset. I wish I could get more done.
Maybe I should work on the tag-help-tool I talked about before I start posting those since unlike the flat colors I posted the sketches aren't tagged yet, and tagging is starting to annoy me.

Oh god I've completely ignored FA, I'm so sorry
Posted 4 years agoBasically, I already have my new tablet and things are sorted out, but I've been caught up with things as usual and posting cub doodles on InkBunny. I didn't even realize I forgot to update things here on FA, my bad.
I'm probably gonna try to get things in order before posting the commission I finished and some other things too. I really wanna make sure I finish those flat colors and a bunch of other drawings to post them here.
I need to be less neglectful of FA since I'm gonna be posting humans soon.

Oh god not now
Posted 4 years agoOkay so the tablet and pen I've had since 2014 are finally failing on me.
I have so much to do, why now??? I had plans.
This is so annoying.
Does anyone know if I can just replace the pen? If I buy another type of pen does it still work? And where can I find it for cheap?
I have this thing, apparently: https://www.amazon.com/Wacom-Intuos.....99&sr=8-20
A new one would not be that expensive, the last commission I got would cover it, but amazon doesn't ship here. The newer model is a lot more expensive, would zero almost all the money I made so far through commissions.
I will try my best to adapt while I wait for a new one, but I need to decide as soon as possible so the shipping time doesn't make me wait more than I need to.
For now it's still working, it just doesn't register some strokes. It has done this before a while back and stopped on its own, so I don't know what's up.
I don't like asking for advice but yeah, I need advice on this. I don't know how these damn things work and I don't know how to google it for my exact model.
I can't believe I'm having "artist issues" so soon into this. What is this, a speedrun of the fandom experience?
This is humiliating.

Posted 4 years agoChange of plans again. I keep delaying this and I probably shouldn't, but I've been wanting to draw new things instead of finishing those flat colors I've been talking about.
I could force myself to work if I really needed to, but as of right now I would rather make more flat colors instead of finally finishing them.
If you would like to see those finished drawings as soon as possible, be sure to be vocal about it, because then I will have definite motivation to chase that.
I have 9 sketches that I made recently which I plan on lining and coloring today. They're all of me and Kat, so pretty similar situation to the six I posted recently, except these are way kinkier, with some of them being wilder fetishes.
I have also been sketching more things lately that I plan to finish if I ever have the time, and I wanna sketch some other ideas I had recently that I would REALLY want to share.
That means I probably won’t do the 12 today, though. They're actually 15, I actually forgot that I did three more between the commissions I got.
So at the end of this I will have 24 drawings to post. Hopefully that happens soon, 15 of them are already flat colors, and all 24 will just need shading after today, if I do manage to finish the 9.
I know that people don't really pay that much attention to this, but I just feel bad if I stay silent and share nothing.

Still not posting, AND I AM GETTING ANGRY
Posted 4 years agoI’m trying, I swear. Seems like I fail another day, but I promise I’ll have a lot to post very recently, okay? It’s just the way I work bear with me.
So I wanted to finish all the 12 drawings I needed in order to open two specific commission slots, and post them all today before tackling the commissions tomorrow. However, while organizing the descriptions I wrote for them in my diaries and contemplating tagging, I noticed that with 3 to 4 hours left before I’m collapsing, I’m probably not gonna make it.
I’m okay with this, since I already preemptively opened the slots they would generate in anticipation, so the commissioners aren’t missing out on anything due to slot hold-up.
So yeah, no uploads today again, and this eats me inside, especially since I noticed an influx of watchers on IB. I PROMISE I HAVE STUFF THAT YOU’LL PROBABLY LIKE, OKAY? At least they’re 12 nice flat colors that I didn’t have before yesterday, so this is progress. I just have to shade them.
Because I noticed that I’m not gonna be able to post them today (if by a miracle I manage to finish all 12 before I’m a withering husk of a sleepy artist, I would not be able to tag them properly), what I think I’m gonna do is try to get even more flat colors down, spam as many drawings as I can for the rest of the day. I might want to tag them too, to get them ready for tomorrow (posting this update is the only way I can justify spending time on tagging, so here we are).
I also have 6 sketches of me and Kat doing fun stuff I need to finish as well… ugh.
Tomorrow I’ll probably work on the one confirmed commission I got, and if the second commissioner follows through as well, I’ll work on that too. Hopefully I can ALSO shade all 12+ flat colors that I would have by then, and THEN post ALL OF THAT. Fingers crossed (don’t trust me, though, I almost never reach my goals, but hey, I’m gonna have SOMETHING to show for really soon, that’s for sure, we’re getting there).

Updates on upload situation
Posted 4 years agoFirstly uh… the commissions I got were delicious, but they might be a bit too extreme compared to what I’ve been posting so far, but not that extreme compared to my USUAL stuff.
Up until this point I have been holding back on fetish intensity/weirdness/grossness, half because I wanted to start mild and half because I’m still not using that four-account system thing. But that will change now.
I just hope that it doesn’t anger the gods or something due to all the repost, but oh well, I’m sure it’s going to be very helpful.
So if you’re one of my watchers this is probably a good time to, check my content breakdown for anything you may not want to see, and head the appropriate accounts if there’s anything, since I’ll post everything here on the main one.
Secondly I want to do a tagging thing. Tagging is the most annoying part of all of this so I wanna make a fricking program to help me (using Unity game engine because I literally have no clue how to code in anything else lol). I might share it with people if yall want. Basically I was going to make it so that you can generate a text file with tags ready for IB, SoFurry, etc. just by scrolling through your lists and clicking them (and they automatically add things like canine if you click dog or something, as well as different names for the same thing).
And the list of tags you use could be stored in a json or something, so you can put your own stuff there. I have a good idea how to do it and the main hold up is the actual system of tags I plan on using (like the hg_ag_nl_ml thing).
I’m sure stuff like that already exists but I wanna make my own.
But yeah, after that I’m going to go full force with the kinky stuff.
Thirdly, I’ve been meaning to compensate how I didn’t draw six a day for a few of the previous days, but I’ve been failing. I think I should just let go.
It doesn’t matter too much, since I’m still above my true quota, which is 2 a day, so yay for that, but I really need to compensate previous months and stuff.
I calculated my drawing debt to be 80 drawings or so, and six a day would actually solve that issue if I manage to keep it up for the rest of the month.
Six a day would also mean one new specific commission slot and three unspecific ones every day, which is probably interesting to people, so hopefully I can get back on that rhythm.
I'll be posting the commissions and the two most recent drawings along with some new ones, as soon as I make those new ones.
As of right now I think I’m just going to sleep. I shouldn’t, I should try to draw more, but I have two somewhat special drawings that I need to finish and I really don’t wanna work on them all tired because I wanna do a good job on them.

Opening Commissions
Posted 4 years agoI'm now starting to accept commissions via PayPal, if you are interested please make sure to read the COMMISSION INFORMATION PAGE.
My commission slots need to be generated based on how many drawings I make. New slots will become available as I post more original drawings.

Just updating people on what I’m doing
Posted 4 years agoI just wanna apologize because I was supposed to post a few drawings today but I couldn’t finish everything I wanted in time. I got close to my quota, though. Managed to finish five and was just shading the sixth but I’m just too tired to continue.
Had I succeeded, yall would be seeing six new drawings now, but alas.
These six were part of a 9 sketch group I did yesterday, and I wanted to finish and share them all today but I didn’t have time. I actually wanna try to share them all together, so I’m going to do the last three and then post them all together tomorrow.
I may also shift from posting just when I’m about to sleep (at the end of the day) to posting just after waking up (posting the drawings from the previous day). This way I’m not tired when tagging and stuff.
