I'm very happy with how this one turned out. I made a small set of portrait of wild chicken species.

A greater prairie chicken. Acrylics on tea stained paper with some gel pen.

They're weird things, pretty much threatened by small habitat and habitat loss. There was one subspecies called a heath hen but it died out in the 1930s. You should see Sage Grouse, those things look crazy!
