Gradient-shaded and background comish for
Xylex of Xylex, the dragon!
Xylex told me he wanted a nighttime scene, and a scene of him flying with the aurora borealis in the background just jumped into my mind and wouldn't get out. I think it's his colours, being all night-like and such. But anyway, here's Xylex heralding the night, with some friends in the background? Maybe the aurora has spurred a dragon migration to his beautiful, mountainous homeland.

This has to be my favorite piece of work you have ever done. Absolutely stunning; every aspect of it. The setting, the aurora and background, the migrating dragons in the distance, and of course the subject. Every aspect of the picture leaves a swelling majesty in my chest, an overwhelming desire to join in, watching the darkened landscape unfolding below...I...I am blow away. Amazing, amazing work!
