Kornie Underwater
The majesty of the great barrier reef draped out below her, a carpet of coral teeming with life. The kookaburra watched the fish flit in and out of hiding, the seaweed gently waving in the underwater current, and only heard the steady lapping of waves overhead. Down here, if only for a brief moment, Kornie got to experience serenity in its pure form.
This heres just a pic I started after a visit back to Far North Queensland. Got to go snorkeling in the reef, wanted a pic to remember how it felt.

Oh, so I ain't the only one that thinks how their small armwings aren't made for flying.
But maybe I'm the only one to think they could be still used for short gliding.
Still, diving gives a quite nice and similar effect... only downside is that you gotta come up for air, eventually.

This turned out so beautifully. I love all the details you added to the reef and she's colored perfectly to fit with the environment. The touches of light on the parts of her that are closer to the audience or surface of the water while the rest of her is more blue gives everything depth. I'm sure there's an art word for it I don't know! xD The description is well written too!~
