*BOOF*!
Nice to see you all again so soon! I hope ya'll have been doing great and have been binging on all the candy you were supposed to be saving for later tonight XD
And wouldn't you know it, a 2 week difference in uploads for me is not too shabby indeed! This panel didn't take me absurdly long, I had worked on it off/on for about a week and had a lot of time to think about what I wanted to draw in-between breaks. Breaks being work, school, walks with my dog, and staring into my microwave as it spun around zapping a mini frozen pizza XD Because I've recently streamlined my drawing process so much and am concrete on a style and workflow, drawing has been a BREEZE lately and it makes me super happy. Like, I can finally have an idea for something and immediately sketch it out without struggling on every aspect of the sketch and lineart after. The only constantly changing variable is the panel size itself, I cannot for the life of me choose a shape. Its rectangular of course, but if you go back and look at previous panels you can clearly see I havent made up my mind on tall vs wide panel sizes. I genuinely fear that this indecisiveness is gonna nip me in the butt in the future if this comic gets so big, that translating it into book format is gonna kill me haha!
Another decision I've been having to make is drawing in silence more often, as music or videos distract me enough where I feel like a dog seeing something dart fast past my field of view and I instantly lock onto it haha. Seriously, while some songs get the creative juices flowing I often focus too much on the searches for the perfect song and the music itself to pay attention to the actual important thing, drawing lmao. Even instrumentals without words is distracting to me! It's hard because I love music, but oh well the silence helps me think clearly and plan better.
Do ya'll have a go to song you put on all the time? Like no matter the situation, it's one you're have always in the mood for? I got a ton, but this one is gold. https://youtu.be/JRwijpJqLUw
Onto the panel itself!!!
Loborío has earned himself a reputation with all his local fast food joints and restaurants - his voice and appearance enough to shock and strike fear into even the most hardened of managers who see the wolf dog's large dark silhouette in their door way, or hear his voice in their headsets as is true in this case. It isn't the restaurants that he hates that are safe, for these he will dine once and move on like a predator who loses the taste for the prey that resides within their walls. He directs no rage their way if they fail to meet his standards, unlike a real feral wolf would do. No... it's the establishments who can richly statisfy his palette who bear the brunt of this burden. They are the sorry ones. The Calupoh happily trots (on 4 legs when in a good mood, but he's in public) to receiving end of his chosen spot of food, and gladly throws bills their way as he barks one order after another and another. But in return they must adequately provide the substantial sustenance he so desires, then devours XD
Sandra knows this dance very well, and while lucrative - the wolf dog's jaws fancy her business the most sadly. Just like a dog and their favorite human, Lobo's loyalty to "Taco Time" no knows bounds. He arrives each time with money in his pocket, ready to fill himself up on whatever his stomach err I mean heart so desires that during that visit haha.
Orío is a wild card when it comes to his requests, not because he orders something random each time but because he tends to order the same things but in varying amounts of each. And don't forget, he's not a lone wolf in any of the sense - he's a father of 3 (4, but she lives elsewhere lol) and his mate all sometimes want their own stuff to munch on so get used to a family of canines ordering half the menu every visit XD Sandra knows about these beings, animals that walk upright, can talk, and act as people. Some more feral than others (more on that later!), but animals nonetheless. The wolf dog if all his humanity was stripped and he roamed the woods not in Carhartt but in the bare and ran on 4's, he would easily be able to hunt just like his ancestors and catch his meals this way. Now, he's a laid back upright canine with a "Dad bod" instead of lean muscle who spends his days lounging at home taking care of a family in the suburbs making use of technology and his most active activities include walking to the fridge and back haha. So however this creature of wolf and man came to be, his features like his piercing orange eyes remain and A LOT of instinct. Yet his canine intelligence and ability to see in the dark seems to ignore the simple fact that asking for loads of food in a drive thru when only 1 person is working is not only rude but also is the reason why it's going to take SO LONG to finish preparing - so go howl in agony at home from the wait rather than in her drive lane!
Sandra can recall everytime this dog comes in because each time she cannot fathom how someone can request so much! She happily prepares it and serves up the yummy Mexican food, but still she must be glad these anthro critters are rare otherwise this would be even more common haha. But wait, she lives in an area where these critters congregate the most! Funny enough in some circumstances the canine's wolfish half nudges him in instinct to consume up to 20 percent in his body weight, not in deer or caribou but in beef tacos, pan, and soda XD
She doesn't see it directly as she's too busy imagining the horrors that await her on a single person shift, but Loborío's muzzle is painted in both grey and confusion as he's trying to figure how much and what he needs to order lol. The one single rusty gear he has in his noggin is working hard turning, but turning what exactly XD He's accounting for himself, the Brazilian Terrier he's married to, and his 2 sons at home (with endearing nicknames). Polo isn't a factor in this very complex formula, he's on his own for getting something to eat lmao. You can't count on leftovers in this household, and if there are any by some stroke of luck - one of them is gonna sniff it out and bam it's gone haha. Maybe Orío is actually thinking about how much he get away with charging to the family credit card before Lola's barks turn into actual growls at his financial decisions lol. We will see!
That was a lot of writing! I got carried away with lore building and honestly I'm very excited to finally be getting so much progress on this passion project of mine. It's finally being realized and I'm so giddy to show it to you guys! I hope you guys like what you've seen so far and get to see this story I'm trying to craft, it's going to be fun :D Another note - I don't speak Spanish so if the Span-glish isn't accurate or the Spanish itself I apologize in advance!
Oh and to those who I haven't replied yet to, I will do so soon! I got like 9 comments to reply to still.
Have a good rest of your day, stay strong!!!

Haha you have to remember he's ordering not only for himself but his family at home, so unfortunately their decision to eat out instead of eating at home results in these ridiculous portions lmao.
Well, that's what the Calupoh says but we all know half of it is for him and whatever left can be redistributed later XD
He may be able to help Alex devour the pizza too haha.
