For Commercial UsesPrice will be 3x the price of what I would charge for a standard use piece.
So for a pinup image that would be reproduced for posters or the like, price would be $600 instead of $200 (assuming the design would fall in the $200 range).
Requests for commissions that are not on my offerings (backgrounds only, robots, etc.) will instead be charged at $30/hr for standard use, or $90/hr for commercial use. |

Private Art PiecesIf you wish for your art piece to never be posted, the cost will be 2x the price of what I would charge for the standard use of the piece.
So $400 instead of $200 (assuming the design would fall in the $200 range).
Reasonably delayed postings (a couple weeks or so) for a birthday gift or such are free of charge. |

My ProcessHere's an example of my drawing process.

What I generally do:
1. Quick gesture-like sketch to show the energy (or lack of) in final posing, as well as general established anatomy by given references. At approx 100dpi.
2. Lower opacity on sketch layer, trace it with 3px brush at 200dpi, hide sketch layer.
3. I lay down flat colors.
4. I shade and try to correct spots I missed on the flats.
5. Shadows and flat colors are blended with some pinks, purples, blues, or yellows to make them pop and give more depth.
6. Add lighting
7. Backgrounds (if applicable)
8. Post publicly at 125dpi. (200dpi is available for commissioners)
What you (the commissioner) will see:
1. Quick, rough sketch. Not supposed to show every detail or finished glory. Just a close feel to the final piece, posing, anatomy, etc. Point out key elements I missed or tweaks that should be made to posing.
- Note in the video, the hips become wider and hair is larger and messier at 2:05 as per commissioner's request.

General Rules / TOSExpanded TOS here!
1. You must be 18 or older to order from me.
2. If you do not enjoy my art style from my gallery images, do not commission me.
3. Leave me your payment e-mail in our first commission correspondence, as well as any relevant commission information.
4. Please have payment ready when you contact me for a commission. I will not hold discounts and sales after expiration.
5. For artwork other than character references, the commissioner will provide clear image references of their subject(s) to work from.
6. The artist reserves the right to decline a commission for any reason.
7. Payment is expected before work is completed. Refunds only if I refuse to complete your commission or it is not finished before a date determined before payment.
8. I currently only accept payment through PP*l.
9. Payments are accepted through invoice only. Do not send money without an invoice.
10. I deal in digital goods, so no items will be shipped.
11. Commissions will be delivered via DM through the platform that they are commissioned on.
12. Commissions will likely have a high res version and a gallery sized version. The commissioner will not post the high res version online.
13. It is up to the commissioner to download the completed files as soon as possible.
14. Works by Obakawaii are for private/personal use only, with the rights maintained by the artist. The art may not be used for commercial use unless agreed on by both parties and paid thusly.
15. The commissioner agrees not to request Obakawaii copy the style of another artist.
16. Please allow 72 hours to reply to your messages, as I may have days off or emergencies.
17. The commissioner agrees not to haggle or ask for bonus work. (Working around your budget is fine, though!)
18. Work is not flat priced, but varies as you wish to add details. Lay ALL information out before billing. Everything you want and expect out of the piece. I can't draw what you don't describe, and excessive edits will not be added after the initial invoice is paid.
19. The commissioner will divulge all necessary details in the first commission correspondence and will not expect large changes to be made after the sketch is approved.
20. When a progress sketch is provided, the commissioner will let the artist know thoroughly if there are any mistakes. There will only be two editing rounds allowed for the WIP. Final product edits will only be allowed if the artist has forgotten edits previously asked for during the WIP stages.
21. All edits or changes to a commission must be requested within 48 hrs of the WIP or final product delivery.
22. You may resell adopted characters, but for the same price or less than you purchased them, unless they come with additional artworks.
23. Once the finished product is paid for, the commissioner may post where they please. Obakawaii will be credited as the artist, and the commissioner will not claim they have drawn the piece.
24. As the artist, I may post commissioned artwork and occasionally use it to promote my commissioned pieces (such as, but not limited to: Stream pictures, Speed Paint Videos, Tumblr posts).
25. The commissioner agrees not to use unpaid work-in-progresses elsewhere.
26. Payment for YCH auctions is due within 2 days after the approval sketch is presented. All other commission payments may vary on a case-by-case basis.
27. The commissioner will not delete previous conversations in the bodies of our correspondence, nor change the titles of messages.
28. Nothing created by the artist, Obakawaii, may be used in any blockchain-related technology, including but not limited to: NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space.
29. By paying, you are accepting my TOS.

That is, the "Won't Draw" list consists of things I just don't feel comfortable posting. If you wish, I may draw them for an extra fee to make up for lack of exposure. I also have the right to refuse any commission that makes me uncomfortable.
Are you a very picky commissioner? Then I'm probably not the artist for you! I do not do several edits. I've got fairly low prices and a quick finish time. I try to work out whatever I see in the references I am given.
I'm also not a master artist, sorry. So I don't draw perfect bodies. Or perspective. Or perfect anything. Please don't commission me only to be mean about it later on other sites. I regularly try to check myself. I have found rude and hurtful comments about how I draw.
If you don't see me producing the work or anatomy you like in my works regularly, I probably won't be able to do it much differently it paid pieces.
