This week’s Nominee was a pleasure to watch. In the Saturday twilight game against the Roosters, Sammi Hodgson helped Cairns win their third game of the season and keep their dream start to the season alive, with 35 disposals and an excellent all-rounded play. The team did a complete 180 compared to their rookie campaign, and Hodgson is a big part of it. Well-deserved nomination for the Jimmy Newman Medal.
