Some miscellaneous merch shop updates since Etsy is being a bastard again
The new eevee charms had to be relisted because most of them got flagged as “unavailable in your region”, I contacted support to be told they’re mature content and they’ve been flagged. It took two more support tickets to figure out how on earth pokemon keychains are adult content and once I got on a phone it has actually hit not just those ones but 25 of my listings.
According to other Etsy artists this is apparenly due to them implementing some sort of broken AI filtering system and it’s just the tumblr anything slightly skin toned is porn fiasco all over again.
Anyway this is why that matters to you all;
Etsy won’t tell me what listings I have flagged. I don’t get an email about it or anything. If anyone in the US runs into trying to buy something and gets the “not available in your region” message please contact me so I can try to dispute it.
I have been told by other sellers this is a glitch and it might be fixed but I don’t trust Etsy. I am thinking about opening something like a bigcartel store front to possibly list up anything that Etsy false flags and refuses to fix? It’s really hard to drive traffic to those kind of websites though and it’s a monthly fee so I’m not sure yet.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. The easiest way for these sites to fix things is by having a tagging and reporting system and, I don't know... actually paying humans to run a site used by humans??? AI is trash and I'm angry we're all having to deal with its ilk.
It got fixed on Monday thank god but the fact that they didn’t listen to me that their system was broken and nothing they were flagging was correct makes my blood boil.
