More than enough. The speed matters more in most games, although that varies from game to game. But you SHOULD get 64 just because it's cool.

Nowhere close. Your web browser will use most of it, at least if you're the type to have 30 different tabs open at all times, and even then the browser will start chugging before you get very high. For reference, I've got 32GB. I use Vivaldi as my web browser. Have 21 tabs open. Clip studio for art. Outlook for emails, and various other small things in the background, and I'm sitting at 15.5GB used right now.

There's some applications out there that specifically want more RAM, but for normal people, even 32GB is overkill.

I'm not personally aware of any games that use even 16GB, but I don't have any interest in shooters and all the expensive "A-list" games. So 32 is probably enough for most games AND your other programs to run simultaneously. BUT, RAM is generally pretty cheap and is usually a forever purchase, so if they cost difference isn't a whole lot, go for it. You may not NEED the extra, but a lot of programs will take advantage of it if it's there. To be sure, you can look up the "recommended" spec on games and see what they suggest.

I would say so. I don't even have 32 gigs and things work fine for me.

Back when I was just a fawn, we were given 8 kilobytes, and we liked it. Now, everything needs gigabytes of memory and terabytes of storage. And what do we get with it? Work simulation games where every place you look is designed to imitate absolute reality. What will come next? RAM and ROM that grows on its own when the need arises, I suppose?

I still got my old Commodore equipment. Its power supply has been on the repair list for decades, though.

I'm going to say yes and no, also, remember to take into account the CPU, GPU, Fans, Power drawing as your CPU does need to run the OS as that itself uses 1-1.5GB of RAM to make sure your PC is running in the background. Personally, I would drop 128GB into the PC to make sure the CPU and other things have RAM to use, and if you are streaming the game it doesn't hurt to be safe than sorry later on down the road

32 is more than enough. Bare minimum is 16 gigs but most games won't use even that. The extra ram is nice if you have background processes while gaming, like discord, web browsing, etc or if you're planning on using any program that uses a ton of ram like photoshop if you plan on using tons upon tons of layers. Frequency really is more important for gaming so you want something that has low latency and high speeds. That said, the differences in speed usually is pretty negligible in most games, like a 1 or 2 percent difference in frames per second. Make sure you know what kind of ram your motherboard and cpu support before buying as some cpus can act funny with certain ram sticks.

Better to just spend the money now and get the 64gb than to spend money on the 32, then again on the 64 or extra 32 later.

I've been seeing some high end games or heavily modded games on PC managing to take 35gb on my 64gb system a few times already, so for me it is already worth it that I just got the 64gb right off the bat.

If you're mainly concerned with just gaming then the answer is "it depends". Many things factor into this. I would say 16GB system ram is the minimum and 32 GB would do "Good". But it also depends on the VRAM on your video card. Once that fills up then games will start to consume system ram if they need more than what is available on the video card. For example: If you have a 8GB video card and you play a game that needs 12GB of memory for textures then it will consume 8GB on the video card then "spill over" and consume another +4GB of system ram on top of what the game already needs just to run. If you had a 16GB video card and 16GB of system ram you should be good enough for most anything.

That said though I think you do drawing and arting (not just gaming) so you can probably benefit from having 32GB of system ram anyway.

The 4070 TI Super should be good for now. It has 16gb. The rest of my memory should be coming soon.

If you're buying it brand new then it might be worth it to wait just a little bit. The new RTX 5000 series of cards are supposed to release next month or the month after. The new 5070 Ti looks to be the best option right now, according to the pre-release information we have so far.
