Well, I don't know how many are left watching my account after being gone for so long and I truely don't expect many. though now that I have some time on FA I felt I should write this up.
I am still around, just my computer. the one I own has been taken in for upgrades. my parents took it 4 weeks ago with the idea in mind of upgrading it with parts they had already set up and ready to go. this process was suppose to take a day or two not that much and then i would be getting it straight back.
IT has now been a month since they have taken it and I have grown more and more... angry no thats being nice with that word. They have told me its almost finished and they plan to ship it back to me as soon as possible but I do not understand why they couldn't have had it DONE by now.
As such i'm curious as if I should use my next paycheck I'm getting from work to buy a ride from my roomie down to my home city (3 hours away)) where my parents are and forcefully claim back my computer and anything else I wish to take with me.
Or should I sit on my ass with my fingers rammed up it waiting for its return... *sighs*

In the end he waited a couple of months then went down during the hollidays, when he'd planned to go down anyway, and reclaimed his gear.
still did non of your freinds know how to install hardware? I know it took me 1 hour to replace a motherboard (was in a hurry) so i'm sure they could have sorted you out in a day or so.
Anyhoo, i'm still here, and so are you so all is (more or less) well with the world.
Sorry this sounds like a dig at you, but people I know at home keep doing this and it annoys the heck outta me.

If thats the case maybe you should phone more often, and not just to bug them about your computer ;)
