I wanna shave it (yeah, I'm looking for a more masculine 'do) but I wanna leave a little length so it doesn't look too guy-ish because I want to ease my family (who are religious and don't like short-short hair on girls) into it, instead of just being like, BAM! shaved.

But I'm gonna grow it out a little more before I cut it so I have some time to think, the longer it is before I shave it, the better, because I'm donating my hair to Locks of Love.

it all sounds very good of you <3. i donated my hair to a wig making company once. we call the event "shave for the brave" we raise money so people can watch us get our hair chopped. i didn't raise any money but i donated all of my hair. it was so short it was unbelievable X D. it's grown out long now : } but yeah. it's good what you're doing. easing your parents with patience and reason and donating your hair <3. congrats'

That's cool :D Haha if I could do what I want I'd shave it as close to the skin as possible, I hate hair, really. I hate it being there and I hate taking care of it.

this is great to compare our personalities. I love having my hair super long. it can be a nuisance. but it's not often that. so it's ok for me. but you want yours all gone.

I think it's a nuisance 99.5% of the time, there's nothing I like about it at all, so I just don't think long hair is right for me xD
