yea unfortunately its illegal to take bird of pray feathers unless your are native American heritage. its to protect people from hunting them, not to shaft people of free feathers. but im sure you could grab one or two without consequence. just don't sell them.

*nods* well i wonder what the legality of taking them and then giving them as a gift to one of the local native americans back in slo, who uses them for one of his headdresses, and yeah i def dont have any plans on sellign them

lol cuse i did say in the first part that you could prop grab a few without worrying about anything.

If you called your Native American friend, he might be able to swing by and pick the bird up, or send somebody to do so. Check the legs and see if the bird is banded. There might be a wildlife agency that was tracking its activities and will want to know what's happened.
