I find these incredibly amusing and awesome, I have discovered that pop-esq songs seem to make pretty good metal songs :D

Hmmm, i can't think of any that are 'pure' metal... but one that comes to mind (it's kind of more industrial-ish) is "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy", covered by Revolting Cocks. --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6zqYSezqwo

to be honest i know far more videogame and cartoon intro covers than pop song covers. if you're interested check out the rest of Powerglove's repertoire, insanely talented, and pretty much all their songs are video game and cartoon theme covers
