Boston Area Furry Luncheons
FREE O-KEMONO SKETCH WITH EVERY DOGGIE BAG YOU BUY!!!!!!
When:
Every second Sunday of each month, at 1:00PM.
The next luncheon will be held on Sunday, April 10. For those of you who need a month’s notice, the following luncheon will be held on Sunday, May 8 (both 2011).
Where:
The 99 in Chalestown: 29-31 Austin Street; Charlestown, MA; 02129-3502; Phone: (617) 242-8999 . It’s a short walk from the Community College T stop, on the Orange Line, and there is plenty of free parking. The prices for meals are reasonable. Finally, there’s free popcorn for those of you who can’t afford a full meal and vegetarian options for us herbivores. ^.^

We don’t need to make a reservation, but I request that you send me an RSVP, so we can get ourselves and the restaurant an idea of how many are coming.

No one under 18 will be admitted without permission from their parents. I know this may sound silly, but I’m just trying to prevent any sort of trouble.
I know there are those of you who are dying to wear your fursuits or your partials. I’m afraid that’s not the purpose of this event. The purpose of this event is to create an opportunity for us to get to know each other. The presence of something like a fursuit may make someone, who is new to the group, uncomfortable. I’m on the fence when it comes to collars. I own a collar myself, but let’s not show them off until after we’ve had a couple of meets, okay? The same shall go for con badges. Furry artwork and illustrated clothing will be allowed. After all, it will help someone new find our group! ^.^
Fursuiting “After Party”
Not far from the 99 is the Cambridgeside Galleria: 100 CambridgeSide Place; Cambridge MA 02141; Phone: 617-621-8666 . It’s between First St. and Land Blvd. (along the Charles River); not far from Leechmere Station, on the Green LIne. The price for parking under the Galleria is fairly reasonable (Between $1.99 and $20: http://www.cambridgesidegalleria.co.....fo/parking.cfm). We can go there in foul weather, to do our fursuiting there. If the weather is fair, then there are public parks nearby! ^.^

Sorry that I put the Luncheon on the northern border of Boston. It's it's less convenient from where you live, but I know the area quite well. If you ever do bicycle to the luncheon, let me know and I can help you plan your rout, okay? ^.^
BUT if there's another coming up for the second Sunday in June (the 12th?), then I think I could get to it! I'll be conveniently living in the city anyway!
In the meantime, I'm open to chat with some awesome Commonwealth-dwellers, so hit me up anytime! =^_^=
There's nothing wrong with us going somewhere else afterwards, but that would take more planning. I'd love to work out something like that, if I can get any suggestions. ^.^
