My mate came home to tell me that she'll be on vacation next week. Long story short, I won't be at home from Sunday through Friday. I may have limited internet access, but I can't be certain.


This will be my first opportunity to meet her parents. Unfortunately, in a way, it's already too late to meet Stacy's father. His Alzheimer's has seriously effected his short-term memory. Stacy and I have been together for nine years now and the man that I had been looking forward to meet will not be there. He's been replaced by a sulking shell. I'm glad we'll be able to go before he gets any worse.

Also, Stacy and I will have to go male. It's another disappointment, but there is a slight chance that we'll be accepted as a couple, at least. Also, I hope I can get away with bringing a few plushies. ^.^

All in all, I'm looking forward to going.
