Been away from my house for most of the week.

When I come home I'm informed that my mother's ancient cat took residence of the bath tub, presumably as the decided spot where she intends to die.

Of course mom isn't home, and won't be till some time past midnight, meanwhile I'll be obsessively checking on her cat unable to enjoy anything, I'm not sure how I'll respond to the cat dying. I was incredibly upset when my own cat past away, and despite my general dislike of my mom's cat, I'll probably still be somewhat sad.

But the worst part is going to be, being around my mom, who I've never seen cry, who's already not a big fan of life, and is a general downer anyways, be thrown into an even more severe state of depression than I'm used to.

So, I guess, for the next 6 hours, I'll be sitting next to this tub with her, not really doing anything until mom gets home.
