I saved up for a piano when I worked as a waitress.. I was only 17 and I did it

Here is how I did. I took $20 out of my paycheck no matter what into a BOX at home, not the bank..

If its in the bank its too tempting to use the money because its electronic.. when its physical cash it feels like it is worth more.

I labeled the box "Piano fund" with a pic of the piano I want on top so I remember what the money is for, and so I don't open it for anything except to put money in it.

I highly recommend you give this a try
