I actually remember these commercials but it has been so long! If anything, the animation looks very good and it would be interesting to know who did the work on it.

Must be an US-american thing. I know neither of these characters. I'm particularly puzzled why that "human" is called "Tiger".

The human is a younger version of the golf athlete named Tiger Woods. It is interesting they went with a "Disney-like" setting for this commercial to promote the Tiger Woods endorsed drink. But hey, that's advertising for ya!
