I know I'm not much of one for journals or telling people about my personal life, but I came across something interesting last friday and it's been difficult to get it out of my head so I wanted to share it with all of those who are interested to see what you think. Friday was my first day at school in my desired gender role. I went early to see my professor ahead of time so I could give him the heads up to change my name on the roster. He was unsurprisingly non-plussed about the whole ordeal but that's just the way he is having been a paramedic for so long and a doctorate in psychology. He handed me a paper with the following written on it:

I have been thinking about this quote a lot since that paper was handed to me. I wanted to see what you all thought... if anyone out there really reads this...

I have been full time as a woman for a week now and I have to go boy mode tomorrow but I am happy to report that I will be full time starting 2013.
