DAFF Selection for 1/25/13 Gryphon vs Dragon

Selection for Friday January 25th 2013.
Artist name -
sammy73 Link to the image - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9766466/
Image type and characters - Type A digital vore scene showing a dragon eating a gryphon.
Why this image was chosen - I have seen this artist's work in the past and have always liked how Sammy does character design and coloring. This image has a sketchbook look to it and the color has been applied in a way that is very simple and minimalist. A basic background hints at a cloudy sky with mountains and hills while the characters are done with a bit more detail. The dragon is quite well done, I love the pose that is shown with what looks like a pretty full belly that is insinuated at the bottom of the picture. Dragon's mouth is opened quite wide and gryphon has a look on it's face that seems to give an inkling of something half way between terror and enjoyment, ( enjoyment making sense if the gryphon was into vore ). The neck bulge is nicely shaped and the horns on dragon's head seem to add something extra to that part of the picture even if it wasn't intended. The way the wings are shown can give the viewer the impression that the dragon might have caught and started swallowing the gryphon in mid air and has landed to finish it off.
I like what I see in this picture Sammy, well done!
