Image type and characters - Type B digital maw shots of (1.) Snake (2.) Komodo Dragon (3.) Bird (egret?) (4.) Orca.

Why this image was chosen - This is another older image that had been posted back in early March 2012 so some of you have probably seen this already. My favorite is Number 3, ( the Orca ) because I had done the Calamitry Aert vs Dark Ice comic some years back and that image reminded me of it. The whale's tongue is excellent as is the over all look of it's mouth, just waiting for you to slide down into it. The bird is quite well done too, love the veiny lines seen deeper in the mouth and the way the beak and eyes have been detailed. The Snake may not be shaded but its mouth is just as impressive and realistic as any of the other sketches on this page. The Komodo dragon has interesting spots down it's throat, something for the prey to amuse themselves with as they get eaten? " I'm gonna eat you! but don't feel bad cause you can look at all my inside spiffy spots as you go down! " They all look good, they are all well drawn/sketched and when confronted by 4 inviting maws the question you have to ask is which one would I go into if you could only choose one?
