September Update on Life

Trying to keep a normal schedule here...
Dragon Con
I mentioned before that I was in the Atlanta area staying with friends for DragonCon, which was both very large and very colorful. My recommendation is to find a nearby hotel since the convention itself is spread throughout several hotels. Driving into Atlanta and searching for parking is difficult and time draining. Still had a good deal of fun even if I was sick Friday and manage to snag a great deal of images, as I have never seen so many people cosplay for a convention before. Work to have those images up on the web by Saturday.
Did manage to sketch out some 6-7 pages worth of work though, which is nice. Some of the images are private ones for friends but the rest are personal scribbles I hope to post here by Saturday also. Nothing special though, just lots of pencils of fems, I am so simple. :P
I still do not know yet if I will be back at DragonCon next year or if I will make a return to MFM, it all depends on what friends have planned.
School and Work
Of course as soon as I returned from the convention my Fall semester began, so I am back on the strict work schedule and general strict life schedule as I work to balance my job, my classes and homework, and my art projects ever week and still somehow manage to have some free time.
Still no big deal, at least the classes are ones I wish to take versus those requirements we all had in degree programs that one drones about because one has no interest in that particular subject whatsoever.. *cough* Speech *cough*
Art
Like I said, hope to have the con sketches up by Saturday, at least the ones I don't need to get scans from others for.
Despite the combined school and work schedule for autumn I have worked out a regular schedule for art, I know that makes it sound like work in itself, but my reasoning for this is because of my personal enjoyment of and desire for creating art, especially since I have rather large projects in mind. If I can keep focused and not slack too much, I can actually get a good deal done.
In theory, what that means for here is regular updates of submissions. Also, I have not forgotten anyone when it comes for art already agreed upon, life just managed to get in the way and I apologize for that. I just ask for patience as get used to my new schedule and pace myself to prevent burn out, which only leads to loss of desire to draw and periods of doing nothing and I really want to avoid that common artist pitfall if I can. O.o
That's it for now..
Heard there was a convention in Denver last week and Minneapolis this week, anyone know about those? ;)
