I don't think anything was as epic as Derpygate. Alicorn Twilight doesn't even come close. It was kind of sad that Derpy got pretty much got retconed in the end though.
I for one would've liked it if they kept them in the general area as ponies did. Like tramp stamp or perhaps on their panties. ^_^ Might make for an interesting situation where the CMC are involved though...
Written and done by the same people... Tell me again why people think it'll be bad? Oh, just because of a different -visual- representation of the characters?
Sure, it might be cheesy, but heck, some of the regular episodes were, as well. Still watched those! This is basically the "Oh no, a PINK princess! Hasbro's killing the series!" / "Oh no, Twilight's a princess! Hasbro's killing the series!" situations all over again.
It's not even the fact that they're visiting 'Earth' or even that they are turning human for it.
It's the fact that it looks like they made it a freakin' high-school drama. I can't stand movies about high-school drama, they seem to always portray it like either the worst years of a kids life, where they're ducking bullys at every turn, or the best years of their life with awesome parties and the hottest guy in school as the boyfriend that they are already sleeping with on a regular basis. Either way, the plot is over-used and cliche and holds no interest whatsoever on my part.
However.
I have been wrong before.
Thus, I will watch it once it comes to dvd.
But I'm not paying seven+ dollars to see it in theaters.
But screw the idiot whiners and complainers, I'm still gonna see it,.
The phenomenon known as bronies will be no more after this.
I'm just going to have to accept that kids these days are really weird...
HUMANS BORE ME
REMOVE THEM FROM MY SIGHT
TAKE THEM AWAY
I wouldn't be quite as butt-hurt if they didn't show the actual ponies as a bit of a before-hand thing, you know?
As long as it's as good as the original show.
And doesn't end up being some kind of..ehh..Kawaii-Desune..stuff.
it looks interesting

I will watch it, and I will likely enjoy it.
