Moral Dilemma...Opinions?

The following is kept as anonymous as possible to avoid bias:
So I've been asked by a very famous animal rescue group to do some caricatures of their "spokesanimals." I'm very flattered and happy to work with them! ...but then comes the moral dilemma: How much do you charge a non-profit organization that helps animals?
I still want to be compensated for my work, but I know my work will go towards benefiting animals. As a result, I've offered them some very very low prices--probably a quarter of what I typically charge. Yay, we're helping animals, right?!
But then comes the even worse dilemma: release costs. The organization wants to use my image for merchandise to raise funds. This probably means T-shirts, hats, pins, stickers...anything they can sell that has my artwork on it to benefit the rescue!
...so my question is, do I still charge my usual release contract flat fee even though any sales of merchandise with my artwork on it will benefit the rescue? Or do I make some sort of exception because it's a non-profit organization and I'd seem greedy for wanting some sort of compensation for my work being mass-produced?
Opinions, please. *__*

They're making a profit to raise the funds with the t-shirts anyhow, I think if they're raising a bit of money with your images then you should at least get a bit of compensation. You'll still be doing a lot of good for the organization.
