I'd really love to post little snippets of things throughout the weekend about MWFF, but I don't want to inundate my non-furry followers on tumblr with furry stuff. So I might use this journal to write little comments in. Add edits as the days progress.

My mom and I walked around and finally figured out how to get to the main hotel from our hotel. We saw a respectable number of people in suit already there.

I told my mom there's another convention going on here this weekend, the muscle car show (I think, right?) Mom said "boy, you couldn't have two groups more different than each other! The car guys and the big fuzzy animal people!" And I said nah, I'm sure there's some overlap. She looked at me and said rather loudly (but jokingly) "NO, THERE'S NOT". Lol. Little bit of culture shock. She was amused by a person in a kigurumi.
