Ehhh... just be careful what you post there. Though by their terms of agreement you retain ownership rights to the content you post, you also allow them (and their affiliates) the right to do with and use (royalty-free) any content you post as well.

Thank you for the warning :) I am curious though, Isn't that pretty much the same sort of policy, that most sites have where you can upload content? I get this sort of warning with pretty much every site I've signed up with, at some point. x.x
I thought it was pretty much a standard thing they have to include in order to legally host other peoples content?

It varies from place to place. Any site has to at least have some sort of disclaimer like that to be able to host your work on your behalf. Where it varies is in what else they give themselves the right to do with your work, and whether or not it can be shared with partner sites and affiliates. Not too many offer complete licensing and rights control to you (Flickr is one of the few I know of, though obviously not the same sorta site as Tumblr).
