So lemme get down to business as to whats happened recently in my life. I'll start with...
FUCK THE MOB!
DAMN Wells Fargo! New Years Eve I got paid, direct deposit into my account. everything was cool. Was gonna go out and buy some snacks and drinks and hang out with some friends and celebrate the New Years. So check this shit out.
My mother had a credit card with them. She was making the payments, a little more than the minimum. Apparently the bank said, we want you to pay that card off right now. My mother told them, I can not afford it. You'll just have to wait for me to pay it off through payments. So the bank decided to do an inquiry on all accounts with her name in it.
Before I came to Japan I added my mothers name to my account so that, in the event something came up and I had to pay someone, she could send out a cashier's check to them faster than waiting for it to come from over here.
So when they pulled up all the account's, mine was among those accounts. They than said, there is enough money in all of these accounts to pay off this credit card. and then proceeded to empty ALL of the accounts. Yes, my mother had the money in all of the accounts (to include mine and my sister's) but apparently what they weren't thinking, was about the 1.7k mortgage payment my mom has every month, car payments, and other bills. And yes, since they pulled everything out of my account, I still had payments of my own to deal with. I'm lucky I only owe 3 things that I have to consciously pay for: Car Insurance in the states, Car Payment here, 1 Credit Card.
But they also took money from my sister's account (she couldn't have an account at the time it was made, unless an adult co-signed on it). This is going to put a major stop on her college schedule. She's trying to become a nurse, and they just zapped all of her tuition, books, and other college expenses.
All because they thought they weren't going to get paid.
And the exact time in which this transaction happened: Jan. 1, 2009 @ 00:00 EST
And they had the audacity to include in their snail mail notice: "Have a Happy New Years."
....
