Ten Years & Upcoming eBook(eShortStory?)

I do not endorse nor condone the contents of the following journal entry.
This is a repost from my SoFurry profile. But you're all still my readers here!
I just checked my profile and I've been on Yiffstar/SoFurry for ten whole years now!
Ten years...
That's a long time. Let me check out some numbers, everybody likes numbers!
Page views: 42,706 or 4,270.6 views per year
Submissions: 44 or 4.4 per year (Damn, I'm slow!)[Only 33 of these are stories, so even slower!]
Comments received: 112 or 11.2 per year (Come on! You guys can do better than that! That's only 2.5 per story!)
Watchers: 102 or 10.2 new watchers per year
By a couple thousands views, my most viewed story is my absolute oldest! So, it has had many, many years to accumulate views. Alien Exchange: Earth
I started to rewrite that story a couple of years ago, as a sort of anniversary thing, but I never finished it. If anybody is interested, I suppose I could post what I did finish!
I want to thank all my watchers and those who have read and enjoyed and offered criticism over the years. Writing is a hobby of mine and something I enjoy, but making myself do it can be such a chore sometimes. On top of work and taking classes, I don't always write very much. There are things I write that I never complete, so they never get posted. Writing isn't quite like art; people don't seem like they'd be as interested in half-finished stories like they would be half-finished drawings. However, if anybody would like to see the things I've never finished, I could always post them up for you to read.
One final thing. I have a story that is complete that I'm planning on offering for sale as an eBook (eShortStory?). It's slightly over 9,000 words and is an erotic M/F story. I was planning on working with a friend to make it illustrated, but I'm not sure if that is going to happen. So, I ask you, readers, what do you think is a fair price for a story of that length? The range I was considering would be $.99-2.99. I consider the upper range worth it because this isn't likely to move many copies (Hell, I'd be happy with selling ten!) and I did put plenty of time into it. But, then I come to the lower price = more sales. A Pay What You Want scheme would be more difficult because I would have to do that on an individual basis, as opposed to posting it to a site that facilitates the sale for a percentage cut, which is a more professional way to handle things, in my opinion.
So, dear readers, I'd like to hear your opinions on the matter!

But really, congrats. That's quite an accomplishment and you should be proud of it! As for your uncompleted stories, I think you should post them. Everything I've seen from you has been written very well and I'm sure what you haven't yet finished is no different.
"Nox, dammit stupid faggon, elaborate on 'very well!'"
