I've noticed random glitches like that for literally years, not just with random un-faving but also random un-watching.

yes it even unwatches random. no joke

And rewatches, I've had a few accounts I know I've unwatched are suddenly back on my watch list.

Yes actually, I get the odd one or two, but I just put it down to someone (who doesn't like me) realising that it's my artwork, and therefore unfaves it.

I think that's the reverse of what's being got at here - not someone unfaving YOUR work, but some of the favs you have yourself - of others, most likely - getting unfav'd.

I don't know. But the messages that I get are: user has removed the favourite' in my notifications. Surely if 'I' was unfaving stuff/when I do unfave stuff (I have) this message does not come up on my notifications. But I know for certain that some people have unfaved my stuff after initially doing so.

It is also possible that some of that is in fact being on the other end of the random rather than intentional problem. Also possible that it's not, certainly, but yeah.

I was wondering if it was a case to FA banning spam accounts that mas watch and fave art and when removed, you thus lose all such data. At least I like to think that as an excuse anyway.

maybe they had to revert to an older database file, or something got corrupted. it can happen.
