Alright guys, so we all have heard the big news, Furaffinity has been aquired by IMVU, and people are not too enthusiastic about it at all, and for a number of reasons.
for me, I feel that there is going to be a lot of sanitizing on the site, thus folks like me might not have much of a future left here.
As a result, I'm making Weasyl my main base of operations now, especially since the tide appears to be moving in that direction anyways.
As always, you can contact me via Email: Vosdugolva[at]Gmail.com if need be.

The biggest concern I am hearing from many is the fact that the staff seem largely untrustworthy considering some other actions of theirs as of recently, such as taking 10k in donations around the same time the sales were made (especially since, from what I was told, is something the site legally cannot do in the first place, or at least not easily and not in the way it did it)
Plus, if Alkora is jumping ship, I think that's a good sign if any, but if things do pan out for the better and everyone migrates back from FA and Tumblr and such then I'll likely follow suite.
Research this.
Dragoneer specifically refers to it as a sale that took place near December.

IMVU states "earlier this year" the site was purchased. Post-January, FA held a donation drive for "upgrading hardware", which Dragoneer says this merger with IMVU was supposed to do. A good deal of the comments on these issues have sadly been hidden.
Hope this helps.
You can post all my commissions there too buddy. And I would gladly commission you again.
"As mentioned in our announcement, the only input we have in FA is ensuring the site administrator has appropriate resources to make improvements to the site that he has been wanting to make (servers and such).
We are not implementing any subscription services for FA or generally making any changes to the way that community operates."
