I was trying to cheer up  Uniprae when we happened
to touch briefly on Doctor Who, the long-running British
science fiction show. I only saw a couple of seasons, here
in the US, before it was put forever out of my reach. In that
time however, I fell completely in love with the show.

This is literally what popped into my head, just a couple
of minutes ago as he and I were talking. I swear, it sounds
just like something he'd say.

"If you come away from this, having learned only one thing,
one thing, I want you to remember this: You can never keep
The Doctor down. Not for long at any rate. Oh, you'll try your
damnedest, and for a while you may even believe you've
succeeded. Nuh-uh. Because that's when I'll pull something
so extraordinarily outragous, that it never, ever, even crossed
your mind. And that's when I'll bring everything crashing down
again. Because I am the Doctor and that, is what I do."
