Isn't... isn't it a little bit wrong to extend the deadline when someone was just about to win the YCH? I understand the need for money, truly I do as an artist, but couldn't you hold another YCH another time? I'm not even bidding or anything, I just think it's a little... unprofessional to suddenly extend the auction without warning.

Just putting in my two cents--it doesn't seem fair to the people who won the slots fair and square.

It was a last minute decision that epke and i made together because we wanted to give more people a chance since we were worried about nobody being online around noon. I'm not doing any further advertising or anything for it, it's just for people who had intended on bidding but may have been busy. However, i willl take that into consideration for next time ! ;; sorry if i upset you or anything like that.

As someone who bid multiple times on this auction and made sure that I had won my slot by the time the deadline rolled around I am very upset that you made this decision. I won't be withdrawing my bid because I at least stick to my commitments when I make them and don't change the rules at the last second. I would have happily increased my bid several more times if I had been outbid again before the 12:00 deadline, but if I get outbid before this new deadline I will not be increasing my bid regardless of how much I was willing to add to it before. Changing the rules on an auction, especially right before the deadline, is a betrayal of trust to your bidders and highly unprofessiobal regardless of what you think your reasons are. I'm very disappointed in you as an artist and a professional. This was a terrible business decision.

I apologize for upsetting you, and I would understand even if you were to back out. I am going ahead and closing the YCH right now before anyone else bids on it so that you may have your slot. For the inconvenience and for having broken your trust I'd like to offer you a free sketch of whatever character you want along with your YCH. I really am sorry, i had not thought the whole thing through before i agreed to extend the deadline. I hope that i can regain your trust as a customer and that you will be satisfied with any future transactions with me.

Thank you for the apology and for closing the auction in response to my unhappyness with the changes that you made. I appreciate the effort to set things right and of course I accept, I won't be holding anything against you and consider this a lesson learned on both sides. I'm really looking forward to seeing this YCH come to life!
