If it weren't for my glasses, I wouldn't be able to drive, I wouldn't be able to read signs unless I was standing right next to it, and I wouldn't be able to read paper unless it's held less than 4 inches away from my eyes. Anything farther than 4 inches away is extremely blurry.

I am actually due for a new pair soon. My current prescription is over 2 years old and they are quite expensive.
