I was worried that this would happen with non-furry commercial adds being shown on FA. I ran across my first flash ad on the main page today. Flash and Java ads are some of the biggest malware vectors you can find nowadays. Thankfully I run flashblock on my browser, so the flash was not allowed to load without my explicit permission.

I would like to ask the management of FA if they will be willing to pay compensation for any malware infections. If not then I am coming VERY close to removing FA from my adblock whitelist, sad as that may be. I will be encouraging other people to do the same if it comes to that.

Only have gif and jpg based ads was one of the great things about FA advertisement as it was unintrusive and as safe as you could get from malware infections.

Stop shoveling malware vectors and I'll stop blocking, that's the deal. There is ZERO reason to use Java, Flash or whatnot in ads. It has been a known malware vector for damm near a decade or more. Making them more obnoxious and/or continuing to use Java and Flash only means people will continue to block them.
