Seeking help on Balloon boy
you know, Situation be damned, I'd like to see this project get somewhere, the family is still trying to see what we can do despite how bleak things are, but at the moment that is neither here nor there.
What I would like to ask though is if anybody would be willing to offer some assistance on the game if I moved from stencyl to game maker? it seems more people are fluent in game maker than there are for stencyl and Haxe, and since I'm not really much of a programmer, I'd likely need all the help I can get.
I'm not asking for a bunch of code monkeys though, I'd certainly contribute whatever I could to code, though with game maker, I feel most of my contribution, if not all of it would be on the visual aspect, the graphics and the level design and all. and while I'd want the final say on the nature of the game (the protagonist, the settings, the plot or lack thereof and such), I'd like to keep the project open for ideas from other who are part of the development.
Anyone that would like to offer a hand?

Would that help, or are you only looking for an actual team?
Also, important to note: While more people are indeed familiar with Game Maker, it doesn't play in Flash. People will have to download your game in .exe to play it.
still, it's better than nothing.
Again, I'm not one to really talk on the subject of game making 'cause...I'll be honest, I'm kinda dumb in that field. >.> Whatever the case, I'll spread the word about and see what I can do for you.
Oh, haven't played that prototype. I'll go do that. And good job for defying the face of adversity! I wish you luck.
Still, the limitations on gamemaker may also be a problem.
hmmm, I may suspect that you've mistaken c# for C++; c# is basically java from microsoft
But I feel like my plate of things I want to do is too full right now... 8(
Maybe I can help in a smaller way?
I don't have a Mac, so I can't export the game to Mac or iOS though...
Maybe after I clear some things off my plate, I could help with programming.
