Terms of service
By commissioning me you agree to abide by the terms of service as written on this page
Artists Rights
-I reserve the right to post and display the images i draw as i see fit. The only exception being if agreed upon before hand to keep the commissioned piece private.
-I reserve the right to use rejected sketches for pieces for future works and YCH auctions.
-I reserve the right to refuse service or cancel a commission to those who are exceptionally rude, cannot clearly communicate what their wanting done, or have been known to back charge commissions once completed.
-i reserve the right to alter and change my Terms of service as i see fit
Commissioners Rights
-As the commissioner your free to post and share your picture as much or as little as you'd like. You can receive the unwatermarked(if applicable) version upon request for personal use only. For all other purposes use the watermarked version.
-You may not use the commissioned piece for commercial purposes. including but not limited to: buttons, shirts, prints sold for profit. Printing and using for personal use is completely acceptable.
-Major altering of the original work is not allowed including, but not limited to: Cropping my signature/name out, tracing the original image, paying another artist to complete/further detail the original.
Payment
-No commission will be started until payment has been received. no exceptions.
-You have 24 hours from the time of requesting the spot on my commissions list to pay before the spot is forfeited and given to some one else. This includes YCH commissions.
-If two or more people are splitting the payment for a commission, One person must be decided responsible to gathering all the funds and sending the payment in one transaction.
-Payment is accepted through paypal and in USD only.
-NO refunds will be issued on finished pieces. All payments are final.
- i WILL NOT accept e-Checks
Commission file size:
What i post is the size the commission was drawn at. If you need it larger that the sizes i typically post Tell me beforehand or else there's nothing i can do to make it larger and maintain the quality after its been completed.
Alterations
-WIP sketches will be sent out for any commission that is higher than a shaded piece to assure everything is correct. for orders less than shaded WIP's will not be provided unless asked for ahead of time.
-If changes need to be made due to me misreading the information all alterations will be completely free of charge.
-If Changes need to be made at the sketch stage due to insufficient or incorrect information from the commissioner fees may be applied.
-I'm willing to make small adjustments to pieces at the sketch stage for no fee, this includes: Altering the outfit, Adding/removing props, changing facial expression, and slightly altering the pose.
-For large changes that cause the majority of the sketch to be changed that's are caused by insufficient/incorrect information from the commissioner a small fee will be applied. The fee is based on the total cost of the initial commission and will equal to 20% of the initial commission cost. This being said please be clear about all the details you want included.
Black listing commissioners
I reserve the right to blacklist people for the following reasons:
retracting bids on YCH's without having a valid reason
Filing false charge backs on finished commissions
Harassment of myself and others
Time Taken
The time it takes for a commission to be done varies on a case to case basis. It can range from being done the day after, to being done a couple months after paying. As a rule of thumb please allow 2-4 weeks for it to be completed. After a few weeks your more than welcome to drop me a note to ask about it. But don't fret if its not up and posted the week of paying. I have a public list when I accept a commission on my page/journal so it cannot be forgotten about. If there is a delay to where it takes up to two months constant updates on your piece will be sent during the whole process. This is mainly for painted pieces that take a long amount of time to complete.
I take Wednesdays and Thursdays off, this is my weekend.
If requested I can notify the commissioner when i begin their picture and will provide WIP (work in progress) images upon request.
