Agreed, I think it's the best fan series to date...which I didn't expect, at first.

There's also Star Trek: New Voyages, another fan made continuation of the original series. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_.....8fan_series%29 I first learned about them reading about how an unproduced Star Trek TNG script called "Blood and Fire" by David Gerrold (the writer of The Trouble with Tribbles) which would have been an analogy for AIDS was re purposed for this fan made show. I'd be interested to see if any Star Trek fans making their own series finally adapt Gene Roddenberry's original idea for a Star Trek movie "The God Thing" and compare it to The Motionless Picture that it eventually became.

it's amazing they got the original actor of Apollo to reprise his role, and Chris Doohan to play his father's character. not to mention Doug Drexler providing work for the Enterprise sequences and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) as the computer voice. absolutely amazing ^^

Chris Doohan's voice acting is very close and sounds like Jame's Doohan from the original series! i was impressed.

I know, right? the fanboy in me squeeee'd so much xD and he looks very much like his father, too. I watched the first episode last night. and my first thought was "boy, that guy looks an awful loot like James!" then the titles rolled by, and I nearly shit myself. xD

Another related series is Starship Farragut which is shot at the same studio. I worked on there latest film 'The Crossing' which is still in post production. Being at the set is absolutely breath taking! When you walk in for the first time its hard to believe its all there. Also yes, the captains chair is awesome to sit in.

Impressive! Terry would get a kick out of these also. Will have to check out the rest of the episodes.

i was impressed at how well the set, lighting, makeup, etc matched the TOS. When Vic Mignogna turns at certain angles he looks like Shatner in the TOS. Also Chris Doohan's voice is very much like the early Scotty.

I have seen enough bad home made versions be turned off of seeking out any more. <:)

Show is neat... I just fucking despise Vic Mignogna.. the guy who plays Captain Kirk.. he is a complete asshole... met him several times at both Fan Expo and Anime North... a real dickhead.

Also... when you have a professional site to show off your voice work and acting work as well as contact info with your agency.. you dont say on it "I am the Jesus of voice acting and acting... My work is the stuff of genius!!" etc...
