Percocet withdraw SUCKS!!!
Sooo, before my back surgery I was taking a crapton of Percocet because I needed every millegram I could get to not be in pain.
Well, as those of you have have been following, I got super lucky and snagged a cancellation and got my surgery over 7 weeks early on January 8th.
Well I continued to take a reduced dose of Percocet afterwards for a couple of days and stopped completely, because I forgot to take it, Sunday night/Monday morning. By the time I realized I wasn't taking it Monday evening, I figured just go with it and get off it as soon as I could.
Well now I am clearly in withdraw. I have a lot of symptoms from the checklist and they suck. I am both exhausted and full of energy at the same time. My cats are trying to comfort me, but they are also pissing me off as well when they don't leave me alone when I want to sleep. I have managed to keep myself in check and not take it out on them beyond yelling at them to "knock it off", which sends the message that I am not in a good mood and they back off for a bit.
Soooo yea, Minimal pain, just weakness, from the surgery at this point and a crapton of withdraw from finally not having to take the pain medication. I am doing some work remotely from home, which is good. Thankfully I have a LOT of flex time saved up.
Hope everyone else is doing well...

Out of curiosity, do you know how long the withdrawal symptoms are expected to last?
Best of luck for a smooth and successful recovery!
