ANNOYED + fb or tumblr?

EDIT: THANKS based on all your feedback I'm going to go with tumblr. :)
God I've been trying to be very productive with art but my Cintiq has been lagging an absolute ridiculous amount. I've been gritting my teeth and trying to draw slowly but I'm honestly about to lose my shit and smash it. v_________v
I'm sure it's my laptops fault because it's fairly old, but my Cintiq doesn't work with my desktop computer so I might have to say fuck it and go back to my Intuos 3. It's just been really slowing down my process and I can't have any tabs open or god forbid have a video running to watch while I draw. Even when all of my tabs are closed there's still lag, just... slightly.. less. So I'm sorry for the lack of art, I'm trying!
On another note, I'm in the middle of creating/reviving an art challenge page! I'm not sure whether to do it on tumblr or make a Facebook page, but I've got a lot of really cool ideas that I'm really excited about. I made a really comprehensive guide for studying so I feel really motivated and organized finally.
SO would you guys rather me revive my tumblr blog where I create art challenges, share tips, create tutorials etc. or would you prefer a Facebook page? (I think Facebook would be easier for followers to keep tabs on because you can get notifications whenever I add content to the page, and it might be easy to lose track of posts on a tumblr dashboard) BUT YEAH let me know what you think!

Sorry to hear about your tablet not agreeing with you though, that sounds incredibly frustrating. Do you know why it doesn't work with your desktop computer? :x
Some people don't use FB, as well...
Yeah that's actually why I'm so torn between tumblr and FB. I think FB would be more organized but I know a lot of people prefer the anonymity of tumblr.

Tumblr's system of relying on reshares as the primary social function makes it excellent to gain followers and watchers. It's also way easier to upload nicer pictures that, even if the preview is a little blurry, have much better quality than Facebook's compression hell.
If you crop your images to be vertical, or even post multiple "shots" of it with a more vertical primary image, people will likely be more drawn to the image. I've posted wide images before only for them to mostly go unnoticed.
Your fan base can grow rapidly on Tumblr, I gained 200ish followers in around two weeks with just a handful of posted images, and I'm just an amateur. Qualzar.tumblr.com
Also, did your cintiq just recently start lagging? Wacom bunked up a bunch of drivers in the past few months. I was having weird issues with my intuos lagging in SAI until I downgraded my driver
It's always lagged if I played a video or had too much stuff open, but it's just progressively getting worse. Do the drivers automatically update? I don't think I've updated them myself.
