Well, this is a common thing for most artists. Usually only the people being drawn or getting the art tend to comment with me. and the basic comments are usually the most abundant because they require the least amount of effort. People just dont put any time in the comments anymore. I try to say something with at least a little thought when I comment.

Oh of course I dont want people making low quality comments, that's silly I really just wanted to hear more of people if they really weren't liking something, for art reasons if a commission, or art and concept reasons if not.

I suppose I could go on to every picture you make and say that I like them. But if I give this compliment to every picture I like... then the compliment looses some of its value (at least it does to me)

so in my case, from now on you have my permission to claim any silence from my part as a "I like it... or havent seen it yet"

I feel the same here, especially lately, as if quite a large portion of the community has gone. I suppose a lot of people are just busy, but it would be nice to get more feedback sometimes.
