So that just happened...

So, for fun. I commissioned a short story from someone offering fairly cheap quick short stories. They gave a general idea and you provide a general description of what you want and they write it. Got 2, first one was quite good, second one didn't really do what I had asked for. So I said as much and after some back and forth discussion with the author I was given a blanket, you want a refund or a fight, if a refund ask, if a fight go get it from your friends.
I asked for a refund and was informed I was being added to the blacklist and I was being blocked. I find this a bit funny as originally the piece was purchased cause I enjoy the writing style and I thought it sounded fun.
I understand that for short stories like that you can't get overly complicated bits but I thought I had asked for something that would fit but not a whole lot of details would be added which I was fine with. However some of what I wanted wasn't included and the group was reduced to just two characters and the main focus I wanted was not included. So I feel somewhat justified saying that I wasn't happy with it. However getting told I should feel happy I got such a good piece and only paid a little for it even if it wasn't what I originally ordered.
So folks, did I overreact here? I asked for a certain story, got something different but should I feel glad and happy I got something at all, or annoyed that I got something different then what I asked for?
Regardless of being blocked not planning on commissioning this person again even if I am unblocked. Just found it a bit unprofessional that I paid for a story and rather than being understanding that what was commissioned was not delivered, I was basically told be happy you got something at all like it was a privilege. Or is this just how things are supposed to be? You got something even if it was wrong so shut up and give me money.
And folks wonder why I have been unhappy with commissions recently. Situations like this.

Sure don't worth it, but honnestly, whit what you explain me, i can tell you whit my ex lawyer experience you can easily suit him in my contry..and i think that would be the same thing in most.
Still you should give the name of that guy , that way other people (like me or any other people enjoying comission people) will not fall in the same trap
On that note, why even complain publically in a journal if he got the refund for the bad story in a batch of two? Seems like the system working as it should to me.
See, I don't really care about hurt feelings, or unprofessional behavior or whatnot, venting on the internet about meanies is the thing furries do BEST, but furry drama should be furry drama and not some court's business, because the money was repaid and they don't care.
Also, good one. You tell me not to insult people whom I do not know, and then insult me ;D
Seriously ,what the hell are you talking about? I never scam any of my customer when i was lawyer.
As lawyer i work almost for free for many people, and i gain less money than i could because i am really honnest!
AND i stop work as one because that was too hard to watch some nice people lost anything because of the system.
From a guy calling woman of slut because of their choice of life, insulting trans by calling them monster and homosexual as disease symptom AND owner of a sexual fight group, i think you should not call other people hypocrith
Not touching on anything further, just calling you out on that particular piece of bullshit again.
That what my comment is about.
No please dear poser, shut the fuck up and don't talk about stuff you don'T know , thanks.
Sorry that happened. :( Sounds like they overreacted. How will they deal with real criticism if someone just hates the story they write?
