In Response to Orlando

I can't really add a whole lot to this conversation in truth. This has been a tragic event and it is a shame that such hatred still exists in this world. I can't do much other then donate some blood and chip in a few dollars to help the families out and I encourage the rest of you to do the same.
However I would like to take this time encourage people to write their congress represenatives to lift the ban on blood donating from gay men. In the wake of this tragedy it seems only fitting that we can do at least this bit of good. It is a shame that folks from that community can't do something so basic as to donate blood to help out those who were harmed in this event. So please folks, write, call, and do what you can to push this.
Prays go out ot the victims and their families. Know we stand with you in this time of need.

I also strongly suggest that all furry cons should enact stronger security protocols as any and all "soft" targets should be on notice.
As for stronger security, I do agree.
My mom is from Italy and said there are no gays in Italy.
It's sad.
