I went to the foot doctor today to see why my foot wasn't healing correctly. turns out that, specifically, I sprained my Achilles' Tendon. Those who have known me for a long while know that back in High School, I tore my Achilles' Tendon in my other foot, and it took 8 months for it to heal. The doctor warned me that if i didn't take extra care, i could seriously damage the tendon beyond repair.

SO: I gots me a boot! I have to wear it for 3 weeks until my next appointment, and see how far it's healed. The doc says it could take upwards of 6 months before i can even go on my 3-4 mile walks again without feeling pain.

Now for the part that sucks: Even with insurance, I owed the doc $250 ($130 was just for the boot), plus I had to pay another $50 for Ubering it back and forth, for a Total of $300. thanks to recent commissions, I was able to pay that right away.

Unfortunately, I got another bill from the ER. In addition to the $1260 I owe my insurance company, I ALSO owe $400 to the ER....
